I am posting this review late but felt compelled to write a review after the others on the site for the same week we stayed. The hotel was being wound down and the food and facilities were being closed down bit by bit every day, it was a case of hunt the sunbeds on some days!

The staff were uncomunicative and verging on rude, the food got worse by the day as they were actually clearing out the food stores and the hotel staff admitted as much to us and told us that we paid a 'reduced rate' as we were the last people to stay at the hotel for the season. I'm not sure I actually paid that reduced rate however! The Alacarte restaurants were there and they were said to be rather good by some other guests, however, you were only allowed to book them between certain times and unfortunately unless you stood for an hour on the first or second session, all the slots were taken, again, this was due to the hotel 'closing down', no amount of discussing it with the staff or First Choice rep could get any booking for these restaurants.

The mossies were a real problem and we used extra strength creams and sprays every night but still got bitten at the theartre area where the childrens night shows were.

The area the hotel is in an isolated and as the beach is protected it is rather a trek everyday with all your stuff to reach the water (sunbeds etc. aren't allowed due to the turtles, which is a good idea). This is certainly not a resort you can take a stroll from in the evenings. It felt like a prison camp and an endurance rather than a relaxing break, I would rather have stayed at home.

However, this is nothing compared to the other guests we experienced during the stay. We did meet some other guests who were lovely, however, these were in the minority.Guests just let their children run in packs during the day, they ran in the restaurants, stuck their fingers in the food, shouted and screamed through the public areas (in a non child holiday sort of way), took food around the hotel, left it discarded and dropped on the floor. I was hit by a football in the face twice by groups of yobs and then when asking them not to play in the childrens area I was shouted down by groups of drunk adults who were 'supervising' them. These adults similarly left discarded nappies around the pool and half eaten food.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone whoever they were and certainly wouldn't go again.

There is a sister hotel across the 'line' dividing the two which we were not allowed to visit, this hotel seemed much nicer but guests from this hotel were being herded into ours as the week went on.

I won't ever be travelling with First Choice again.

Well, I'll start with the 5 hour delay we had at Manchester, plus the 2 hours we had when you arrive and all we got of first choice was a five pound voucher! Any way I'll get on with the Hotel.
Arrival was quick and the rep on the coach was very useful and had a laugh, a nice lady.
1st impressions was beautiful and check in was fast and told very clearly what was what eg tom watch, stickers for the suitcases.Plenty of reps and was at least 2 at reception at all times. The bellboy took our cases to our room and as a nice gesture I gave him a tip of

We arrived and the bell boy takes your cases to your room, its so easy. We gave him a 10 lira note (4 quid) the Tom watch and towel cards were explained clearly enough. We left the Tom watch in the safe. The safe is free, which is good and unusual. We had the Jacuzzi suite, it was spacious and there is a bedroom so parents have privacy from the kids.
We were impressed by the level of cleanliness, it was spotless. I felt it was extremely safe for the kids around the pool area too.
Ear infection. Well despite being terrified my girls might catch it, my 6 year old just got a tickly feeling nothing more. I went to the chemist and bought medicine and ear drops

Hotel had a bright and airy feeling and was very clean. I have stayed at an Ibrostar Hotel before and feel this hotel is putting Ibrostar down as First Choice actually own it and employ Ibroatar to run it for them. People we met had dreadful mosquito bites that had to be treated by the doctor with pain injections and antibiotics so please make sure you take repellant. Wasps around the pool side seemed another major problem with many adults and children being stung. I did not queue for my food as it felt like being back at school. As this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel the food is of a very poor standard and always cold the meat was mostly scrag ends and chewy. The sea is very dangerous for children and it has a quick deep drop.
Two days before departure I noticed a few things missing from my case(tankini top and an ipod yes one piece of clothing !)others had clothing and a mobile phone and a childs nintendo DS taken. I was really very unhappy and upset about this and spent the last day making statements. Earlier on in the week there was a man on our balcony in the Ibrostar uniform, he shocked me at first but assumed he was tending to the plant boxes or doing maintenance but later found out there never should have been a man on my balcony, we was on the first floor, no one not even the manager found out who this man was or what he was doing. So please be aware I find this a very serious matter. He was not the thief as the balcony door was locked and could only be unlocked from the inside (all I can assume is he was working with the cleaner) I have never had serious issues such as this on a holiday before and I have not stopped thinking about it since I have been back home. I would not even consider going back to this hotel it's such a shame this happened as I will never visit Turkey again and I am sure there are so many nice places to visit.

I went away for 1 week with my friend to this resort

Initially my first impressions of this hotel were good, I can't fault the cleanliness of this hotel it was well maintained.

The food was very poor, although it was always cooked in front of you the choice was limited and it was the same stuff every night. there are 3 a la carte restaurants that you can book into (1 visit per restaurant per stay) if you don't book yourself into these on the day arrive you will be hard pushed to get booked into them at all, we visited the Italia on the Saturday night and the Indian on the Sunday night - in all honesty I would suggest you stick to the buffet restaurant because these a la carte restaurants were worse than the usual poor choice you get from the buffett. We could only get tables booked at 9pm on each of our two visits to the Italian & the Indian, the menu's were poor and the quality of the food no better we left both the restaurants having barely touched a thing, because we had been unfortunate enough to only get a 9pm booking by the time we got out the buffett restaurant was closed so we couldn't eat anywhere else

The hotel location was in the middle of nowhere, the brochure was very misleading, I can't fault the staff however they were all very, very pleasant.

the entertainment was average, kids were well catered for

Having been to Turkey before we were looking forward to staying all inclusive in a four star hotel. Firstly can i say that the inital impression when you arrive is fantastic, the hotel is spotlessly clean and has good facilities along with a very nice (Hilton style) room. However the food is appalling, very repetitive, bland and chewy. I could not tell the difference between the spag bol and a turkey stir fry as they both tasted the same (of nothing). This is our main criticism it is like eating in a school canteen, and as for the A La Carte Resturants, well I have never been served Hoi Sin Chicken and Minestrone soup in an Indian before??, and the Italian is just the same food they serve downstairs in the buffet with a little more garnish. I would never rate the food as four star, I have stayed in various Hilton and De Vere hotels and if this food is four star then they must be 30 star!!

If you want a couples holiday don't go here it is full of families, which in fairness we did expect however we were led to believe that there was an adult only pool and bar which we never found??

The entertainment team work very hard, but they have to do everything so don't be surprised if one minute they are calling bingo then the next minute on stage dancing and singing! All in all the entertainment is good but is very repetitive like the food! and a bit childish for two adults.

All in all I don't want to be completely dismissive as we did have a nice holiday and the hotel itself is very nice, it was just the food for us - never again!

let me start by saying this was a last minute booking and we knew nothing about hotel what so ever.firstly we had fantastic flight times,9.30 am gatwick--5pm leaving turkey.met by first choice reps, onto the coach 20 minutes later we was at the hotel, and what a fantastic hotel.cases were taken to the room for us,check took all of 5 minutes,15 minutes later we around the pool,or should that be pools, there is 8 in total.you have the main pool which is the size of the town i we live in with water shutes, then the kids pools and quiet pools for just relaxing around.went to the welcome meeting next day, dont normaly go,but never been to turkey so went to see what was on offer.all the normal are on offer, but the best one is the jeep safari,---prepare to get wet its amazing, the gulet (boat) trip to 14 islands is a must, brillint trip and great for sun bathing.every rep and member off staff were bending over backwards to make sure you had a fantastic time.the food was excellent, yummy pancakes, hot doughnuts, fresh off the spit kebabs, toasted sandwiches, and thats without all the restaurents.the entertainment team worked there socks off, hello to---oly,adam,zoe,christine and linda john piere the brilliant dia from london with a voice to die for.we only left the hotel twice to go on the trips, there was so much going on there.hope this gives you an idea of what to expect,we will certainly be going back again.10 out of 10 for every department of the hotel.

Huge hotel in the middle of knowhere but is fine if you are just wanting to enjoy the pool and sun. Beach is awful and didnt spend a day on it. The pools are lovely but there was a terrible outbreak of ear infections going round everyone and it made you nervous of the pools. Food was ok.... just the "same old same old"... Rooms were clean and basic... not 4-star standard in my opinion. Entertainment team do work hard but could have been a bit more friendly and come round the children a bit more. First Choice team just ok.. I asked for some advice one morning and was told to go and look at the board! Kids clubs were not great. our kids didnt want to go back after one day! Did NOT like the indoor restaurant... just like a glorified holiday camp... very basic interior and just like one big bun fight... really DID NOT enjoy going into the indoor restaurant but sometimes we didnt have a choice because we couldnt get a table anywhere else. Round the pools are manic... you feel you are sitting on top of each other and at times, we absolutely hated not being able to have ANY privacy whatsoever. Every morning we had to set our alarm for 6am just to get down to put towels down and grab a precious umbrella. Not ideal at all and First Choice gave everyone a note to say they would lift towels if they were left but no-one adhered to this rule and we had to continue with our early mornings just to get a suitable position for our family. Would not go back to any holiday villages... not for us at all.... give us a nice quiet pool any day!!!

Just got back from the Pegasus village and totally agree with previous writers......

My main concern is the ear infection issue.

My daughter swims for a club - 12 hours a week, she smells of chlorine even after showering and the club's pool waters are checked constantly.I didn't see evidence of any of these.

Both my children got the infection - total cost at the doctors was over

Fantastic....
Everything about our holiday was great. After working hard all year it was great to have an holiday were you could relax in beautiful spotless surroundings. The food was great, the jacuzzi suite was great, plenty of space which is important when sharing with 2 teenagers. The sheets were changed every day along with the big fluffy towels. Mini bar was stocked daily too.
The location for us wasn't a problem as we have been to Turkey twice before so knew the location. It was well worth being a little off the beaten track to have the luxury of the hotel. In the village nearby there are agents for excursions. It cost us
