the hotel was as we expected, excellent. this was because we stayed here last year. it was very clean, all the time, everybody worked long hours and did a fantastic job, maids, cleaners, waiters, reception, cooks, bar staff everybody did and were all really friendly and polite.

the food was nice, but had changed a little since last year. there was always something too choose from. they seem too have lots of veal, but there is always chicken and fish if veal is'nt for you, like myself.
whilst we were there it was my daughters birthday, so we ordered a chocolate cake. it cost

Spent first two weeks of July at this All Inclusive hotel. Here is my report:

Pools: The swimming pools were great. Very clean. There was one very large one and three other smaller ones. The kids pool was really good as not deep so did not need to worry about the younger children. We based ourselves round this pool most days and then the older kids could head to the deeper pools if the wanted. There are also flumes which are open a few hours each day. Great fun for all ages. Plenty sunbeds available and good canopied areas to provide shade when necessary.

Food: Can't fault the food at all. Various places where you can get meals from - the beach bar, the main snack bar and the restaurant. Lots of choice and food always hot. The staff are very friendly and quick to clear tables etc. There are themed restaurants in the Hotel (Indian, Italian and Turkish) - you have to book these via reception. Only problem was whenever you tried to book were always told they were "full" yet in the evening when you passed there was hardly anyone in them. We did complain to the Rep about not getting in - but to no avail. Having said that we did speak to people who had managed to get to eat there and they said they were not very good - food bland. A lot of them ended up giving up and going down to main restaurant to eat.

Drink: Plentiful !! Coke, Fanta, Sprite etc all available. Efes beer very good. All served in good plastic glasses around poolside so no danger of breakage/cuts etc. Also good range of spirits available - vodka, gin, schnapps etc.

Room: Good size - double bed and twin beds - separated by sliding doors. Balcony not huge but fine for sitting out on, drying clothes etc. The cleaners came in every day and changed the beds, provided fresh towels etc.

Kids Clubs: The kids really enjoyed these. Clubs on offer to cater for all ages. With 1 1/2 hr sessions on three times a day and also evening sessions. My 8 yr old especially enjoyed it - doing aeroball, canoing, raft building, play station games etc. There is also a High Wire Ropes thing which they both did - although you had to pay extra for this. The Sessions are on first come first taken basis - so you have to make sure you are there early to queue to get in - or else will miss out.

Entertainment: Evening entertainment was okay. Usual kids disco etc followed by First Choice Staff cabarets. Was fine for the first few nights but got a bit fed up with it after a while. Also shows which we saw the first week were repeated the second - so bit monotonous.

Spa: Fantastic. Well all had a Turkish Bath - it was amazing. The people that work there are so friendly and the spa itself is gorgeous. My husband and our friends all went back a couple more times during the holiday for different types of massages. They even gave the children a free Bath which they loved.

Beach: Just a short distance from the hotel. Quite coarse sand. We spent a couple of afternoons there and had good fun - but it does get very deep very quickly and the waves were quite powerful so really had to keep an eye on the children. Went parasailing which was brill.

Shops: There are shops selling usual sun lotions, sweets, papers etc - but very expensive. Also jewellery shop, handbags, shoes etc.

Negative Points: Not many really. Mentioned already that expensive to buy stuff there and problem with getting into Themed Restaurants. Also it is pretty isolated so do get a bit stir crazy - definitely plan some trips. Even though All Inclusive you do find you are paying for things here and there and we did spend a lot more than we had intended. Getting money is a major problem as no ATM available in the village and nearest is a long taxi ride away. You can use either Lira or Sterling ... but it must be ENGLISH sterling. Which we felt was very unfair as they fill the hotel with Scots and Irish but refuse to accept our LEGAL TENDER !! Our friends were caught out as has only brought Scottish Sterling and Reception wouldn't even swap it for them. Very annoying.

All in All have to say we had a great time and would recommend it for families.

We stayed here in mid july just before the 6 week hols and had a fantastic time.We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and we had 2 rooms for 4 of us.Both were cleaned daily with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water provided each day.The food was delicious, well cooked and varied.im fussy with food and i actually went back for seconds most nights.Turkish night was the best food i have ever tasted.Theres 2 snack bars 1 at the pool and 1 near the beach which is less busy. The snacks were delicious and mostly cooked to order depending on how busy it was.Lots of cold salad and fruit available at any time.
The entertainers were brilliant and always happy to chat and always something going on day and night. All the hotel staff were lovely and cheerful, housekeepers included,so dont foget to say hello when they do!!!
We didnt watch many shows but our kids did and they enjoyed them.its very varied and something for everyone.Overall its the cleanest and welcoming hotel i have ever had the pleasure to stay in and we are looking at going back in may 2008 and we cant wait!!!!

Have just returned from two weeks here and unfortunetly we found it a huge disappointment! We have stayed at Lykia World, Cornelia (Belek) and Hillside, so this is our fouth time in Turkey and normally love it. I have never complained about any holiday before so i am not a serial complainer.

The Hotel and resort itself was beautiful and very clean. But all the guests are english with first choice running all the entertainment, you could have been in the UK. The reps where no older than 25 and it felt like being at some tacky holiday club! The evening shows were average, a couple of the girls did have fantastic voices and the 'girls aloud' take off was particulary good but most of the other shows were poor with lots of adult remarks very close to the line for 'family entertainment'.

Most importantly - EAR INFECTIONS - both my 7 year old and husband got this and had to stay out of the pool for 2 to 3 days. One rep told us it was the heat another called it "swimmers ear"?? As you walked around the hotel, you would spot cotton wool in kids and adults ears every few people. It was so bad that one lady decided to do a "survey" and questioned 153 people of which 86 had problems, so over 50%. One of the shop keepers told us it was the dirty pool water, although it looked crystal clear, you never smelt any chemicals of any kind. A guy would 'check' the water daily but only ever changed the date on the board, ph levels etc were never altered while we where there. The hotel doctor was charging

We have just returned and had a fabulous holiday. Both my children thoroughly enjoyed all the day & night activities on offer - we enjoyed it so much we have just booked for 2 weeks for next year!!!

Massive problem with ear & eye infections though both my son & husband got them - will be writing to FC to get some form of explanation as 9/10 people were walking round with cotton wool in their ears which is not very reassuring at all.

First choice reps - 70 in total on site were all fantastic and worked their socks off - we really enjoyed the perfomances at night as did our kids bearing in mind most of them had been on duty since 9am!!!!

We would definately recommend this hotel and are trying to persuade some friends to come with us next year.

Having read a lot of reviews on this site before we left we wanted to add our comments. Sorry if this is long, but I know some of you will want the details, good and bad. Firstly to make it clear from the outset, we did have a really nice holiday.

Our flight to Dalaman from Gatwick was fine. However the queue (if you can call it that) for the obligatory

Hotel very clean and spacious. 2 slides open for 4 hours altogether each day which we enjoyed. Entertainment team hosted activities during the day for both kids and adults.

Turkish staff were all friendly, they would go out of their way to make sure you were happy (can't say the same for the First Choice reps however).

Entertainment at night was rubbish, the only good night was Turkish night when they had belly dancers. Food during Turkish night was delicious, kebabs and pancakes whilst you waited etc.. A band walked around playing music however they did expect you to give them a tip but whats wrong with that they deserved it. Camels also came on Friday along with a Turkish market. Very expensive to go on the camels they don't go very far but still it's an experience.

Hotel beach is too hot to walk on during the day, it is a nice beach though the sand is a bit dark.

Shops in the hotel were okay although why you would buy a rug bigger than your suitcase i do not know. they also had bag shops, a supermarket, jewellery, and a perfume shop.

Location - in Sarigerme about a 20 minute walk to the actual town. At night time if you don't want to walk you can get a taxi otherwise you have to stay within the grounds of the hotel as there is nothing else.

If you go across to the Pegasos Palace (now the holiday village Turkey) there is a great big sign saying private, you can still go in though. Palace has red wristbands and Tropical has blue wristbands however we went in the Palace and got served for drinks and food, also people from the Palace came into the Tropical to use the sunbeds. I don't think that the hotels are that bothered to be honest.

Food, you don't need to go in for lunch as you can eat from about 11-4:30 at the poolside snack bar. they put food out eg: pizza, salad, pasta, chips and you can get pancakes made they are gorgeous! a woman makes them whilst you wait i have never seen one so big!

I would visit this hotel again but not in the near future as we like to try out new places.

We have just returned from Pegasus Palace and we had a fantastic 2 weeks there and would recommend it to anyone, but particularly to families. The hotel was immaculate and clean and the staff fantastic and friendly without exception, despite rudeness and ignorance from a (small) number of hoidaymakers. It is difficult to provide entertainment that will keep the whole family engaged and I thought that the entertainment team deserved great credit for their attempts which were, in my opinion, largely successful.

The food also was great and we did not feel that there was any repetition during our two week stay. There was always a choice of 5 or six main dishes (at least), plenty of vegetables and the most fantastic selection of salads and sweets. If anyone complains about the food provided by this hotel then the problem is with their diet, not what is being provided by Pegasus Palace.

The Kids Clubs were brilliant too and our 4 year old had a ball there and wanted to go in every day.

There are numerous pools which are kept immaculately clean and the water temprature was great.

The only slight complaint I have (and it is very slight and is not aimed at the hotel) is that the Tom Tom watch is not explained adequately by First Choice during the journey to the hotel. We were informed that they had put 50 lira on it "courtesy of First Choice". suggesting that it is part of the AI package. It isn't, and you do have to settle any of that 50 lira you spend on checking out. As I say, more of a commuication issue from First Choice rather than anything else.

If you are considering doing any of the tours please take time to go into Sarigerme (20 minute walk or 7 lira in a taxi)and book with one of the local agencies - they are much cheaper than First Choice. We did the mudbath tour with Oz from Sarigerme Tours (on your right as you enter the village) and we had a fantastic day out.

This was my first visit to Turkey and it certainly won't be my last. I was impressed with what I saw of the countryside and the people just made you feel so welcome. I'll be back!

Just arrived back from a 2 week stay in the holiday village and what can i say, well, this place is absolutely fantastic, I am a very fussy and hard to please person and over the 2 week stay here i did not have one complaint.

Getting off the coach at the hotel I could not believe my eyes this hotel is beautiful. The bell boys are there to take your cases to your room ( although they do expect to be tipped) and why not they are saving you alot of stress after a long journey.

The hotel is immaculate and the cleaners and bar staff work around the clock to ensure that the place is kept to a high standard.

FOOD well the food was gorgeous plenty of choice and the main meat dishes were cooked fresh in front of you. food was always hot when we ate in the restaurant, but having young children we tried to go for dinner early about 7.30pm.

There was plenty of choice and a must to try is the lasagna and the chilli-con-carne totally beautiful, the desserts were to die for, and the kids loves the ice cream which was walls.

Hotel location is not great but the complex is so big that you really dont have to leave. We went into Sarigerme village 3 times during our stay, it is about a 20 minute walk or 7 lira in a taxi (

Just returned from 2 week stay at Pegasos Palace. We had a fantastic 2 weeks. Hotel and surroundings beautiful. All very clean.

Pools great fun, kids 12 and 8 enjoyed the water slides and pool activities. Complex felt very safe lots of security and we never saw any trouble. 3 big restaurants 1 was outside which we used as felt very relaxed. You didn't have to queue and weren't rushed.

Out of the booking resturants we only tried the turkish one, didn't enjoy that at all. Having 500 rooms we thought it would be hard to find seats at the bars but never had a problem day or evening.

Hotel shops a total rip off. Try and go in to town if your kids like to buy crisps biscuits etc, half the price.

Private beach great for watersports theyre just outside the hotel. My kids did parasailing, ringos, water skiing and banana. Had a great time. Sarigerme town very friendly only 5 minutes in taxi.

Have some meals out, lovely change from hotel and good value.

Book your trips with sarigerme tours and ask for oz. Half the price of hotel. Don't miss the jeep safari heaps of fun my boys loved it and some stunning views. Be prepared to get wet though.

We much prefered this holiday to the costa del sol village, much prettier and complex nicer. Only problem we encountered were the mossies. Buy sinkov repellent when you get to hotel and then buy lots more in town, don't forget your calamine I wish I had taken it.. apart from that you will have a great holiday.
