The hotel is in a great location, central for restaurants, sights and shops.
The lobby area is impressive and the check in desk is curtained for privacy. All the staff are very friendly from the bell boy to the receptionist to the cleaner.
Our room had 2 marble bathrooms, desk, double and single bed, tv, iron & ironing board, tv and even a play station!! The beds were very comfy.
Noise wasn't a problem either which was suprising for a city. There is a good value restaurant and a starbucks in the hotel. They have a choice of smoking and non smoking rooms.
Would certainly go back again to this hotel next time I go to New York.

The lobby was rather grand, in contrast to the rooms which were of rather dated design and in need of some re-decoration.
The staff were curtious and very helpful when hailing cabs etc. There are fast food outlets and deli's within the hotel and across the road.You can take food up to your room if you wish.
Location is excellent, right on Lexington, close to lots of bars, restraunts etc.

I have read some very bad reports about this hotel and cannot understand why!
Upon arrival we were very impressed with the entrance and the lobby. The lobby gives a very stylish modern impression and the doormen were very smartly dressed and friendly. Check in was very quick and again, the reception staff very friendly, as were the porters and the concierge staff. We used the concierge to book us tickets and recommend a restaurant and they were great, very helpful.

The rooms are small, but there was nothing wrong with them, they were clean nicely decorated and comfortable - the bath was a bit old and worn, but the shower was lovely and hot and quite powerful.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in staying at this hotel again and had a brilliant time.

When we got to the hotel we were impressed by the lobby. We checked in at 3.30pm to be told our room was not ready if we could go away and come back in an hour, we did only travel from Ireland.
After the hour we checked into our room which was smelly and very small with really dirty bed clothes. We asked to change and the room they brought to show us was worse with paint peeling from ceiling and marks all over walls with lumps out of wallpaper.
We went back to the original room and stayed there to hear our neighbours every move next door and their shower at 5am. The location is okay but to be honest a bit away from things.
There was a sign in the room saying if your not happy you dont pay, I did complain and got 50% off one night.
Overall I wouldnt recommend this hotel at all and wouldnt go back if I got it for free.
