If you want to be within walking distance of a resort you wont go far wrong by checking out one of the A/I's in Olu Deniz . The belcekiz beach hotel, Club sun city or Olu Deniz resort. nice resort too. very scenic , plenty of shops and bars in a compact area but not in your face .

Also have a look at the Hemera in side . We are going there in 4 weeks . Doesnt have resort on the doorstep like the ones in Olu but you are within walking distance of side and from what I've picked up there are some bars etc close by.

We stayed at The Aegean dream resort last year .There is a lot going on there including watersports within the A/I and some nice water slides and a well used kids club. It's within 10 mins walk of Turgutreis but reviews are mixed outside of the main holiday season when they seem to reduce food and the A/i package. There is also La blance next door .

ahh great thanks ill have a look at them. ive been trying to look at hotel reviews but its taking me ages to work out which are all inclusive and for families an which arnt! thanks for pointing me in the right direction! x

another 1 to look at is letoonia, thats a lovely 24 hr all inc. but the best complex i have stayed at with my kids is lykia world, its fab although only full board + ,but might be worth having a look at , so much for the kids to do,inc a water park, 19 pools and great entertainment and the food is wonderful, both these can be booked by diy or package holidays
