This was our first time in Egypt and we were blown away! The hotel was out of this world - very spacious, extremely clean and staff that couldn't do enough for you. The grounds were kept spotlessly clean, even witnessed the pools and walkways being cleaned at 0230! Our standard family room was enormous with a balcony overlooking the quiet pool. We had a light that was not working by the front door and within 10 minutes this had been fixed - with a telephone call from the reception desk to see if the engineer had been and we were happy with everything. All the pool waiters and towel attendents were fantastic, keeping the area clean and escorting/laying the towels out for us each morning - we felt like royalty! After a busy year - it was a perfect place to relax and chill out. Our only beef - was the fact there were LOADS of Russians (apparently November is their holiday season) and boy are they loud and arrogant. Temp was great 30+ every day - although the pools were freezing - still didn't stop the kids from swimming for 6 hours a day!

i have just returned home from the holiday village red sea and i am already looking at prices to go back. the hotel has got to be the cleanest i have stayed in. it really was spotless. i didnt rate the food much but i coped with it (then again im fussy anyway)! the location was good. 5mins to each side of the hotel there was shops n cafes and 20mins in a taxi to naama bay. prepared to be hassled in the shops if you do venture out though. back at the hotel the staff was excellent. the pool side bar staff run them selves stupid for you. you are never without a drink. same for the evening bar staff aswell although it usually the same staff they really do work hard long hours and deserve your tips. the entertainment was ok. the first week was abit of a joke but after a small complaint it picked up. it wasnt really up to standards that ive seen in the past but it was there and certainly better than nothing. like i said i am already looking at prices to go back so i would definatley recommend it. excellent relaxing holiday for adults and excellent fun packed holiday for kids.

Holiday villiage is a lovley place to stay.we stayed in a swim-up block 9.It would have been alot nicer if the pool was a bit warmer.the only problem was it only had 2 deck chairs and there was 3 of us but other than that it was quite nice.
The hotel staff were outstanding very friendly and helpfull expecially thamer. The main pool was massive and had plent of deck chairs in the shade and in the sun.The swim up bar was very handy indeed.
The quite pool was very relaxing because it was heated,it wasnt as big as the main pool but i think that was better.
The clenliness was realy good i didnt expect it to be that clean with so many people there.
The food was excelent there was so much to chose from at all times of they day.It also caters for vegetariens which is good. the al a carte resturants were fantasic even if Your not a fan of that kind of food take a look anyway because there is alot to chose from. The entertainment was ok it included singing and bingo and also a daily quiz which is really fun.
The location was ok a lovley possition by the beach.
In the evening they had movies going on in ampitheatre down by the pool. they had movies for all ages and big cushins for comfort.
In the day they had activites going on for all ages
so its worth joining in and having a laugh. There is even an instructor there to teach people of any age how to swim.
Up in the main lobby it has internet access just go to the main des and ask for an internet ticket.
It has a lovley beach resturant just for that speciic hotel. all you pay or is the fish it also has chicken or beef. it is all fresh because it has been caught that day.
Yes we would deffenitly visit this hotel again.
Hope You decide to go to holiday villiage it is worth it.

Have just returned from a family holiday to H.V. This was our first all inclusive hol and it was definately worth the money.

The hotel staff work really hard and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. All the pool areas were very tidy and our room was refreshed to a good standard daily.

The main buffet restaurant was great, the food each day was fresh and tasty, none of us had any probs with stomach bugs,Breakfast time there was always a selection of fresh pastries, eggs, sausages, yoghurt, fruit, and waffles, pancakes and omelettes were made to order while you wait.

Lunch too was always a huge variety and in the evening there was always a themed night,ie, french, lebanese spanish etc.

At 1ish there was also hot food available by the main pool if you did not want to go to the main buffet.

The location was ok, not much to do outside of the hotel but give it a year or so and it will be full of shops cafes. Bars etc.

The hotel beach was lovely with great snorkelling on offer for a short walk out to the reef, the fish were amazing.

Entertainment was a bit naff but ok, it gave us a giggle in the evenings ! Mind you there were only 3 reps doing the job that 8 should have been doing.

I would go back again but it would be in a year or two to give t time to establish a bit better. But we did have a fantastic time and I recommend the Bedouin experience trip that was great fun

We've just got back from 2 weeks staying at the Holiday Village Red Sea. We, like some others, were a little concerned about previous negative reports. Was there anything to worry about? No. We had a fantastic two weeks and would go back any day!

The hotel is beautiful and everything is spotless. It's the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in! The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. We could not fault them. They really looked after you!

With regards to the food, anyone who complained must have had a serious problem. It was always of an excellent standard and with so much choice too.
Entertainment was some of the best we have ever seen whilst being on holiday. Much more professional than other tour operator entertainment. The games, etc may have been a bit cheesy at times but was always entertaining and a really good laugh.

Do we recommend the Holiday Village Red Sea - Yes we do!!!!!!!!!

Myself and my partner went for a week in october this year. We were having a wonderful time the resort was wonderful the staff at that time appeared wonderful to so we booked in house to go back next year for our hunnymoon with our children. On our last night I was what can only be discribed as touched in an unwanted way by a member of the bar staff I was mortified not only that but my partner was furious he spoke to the manager that night and i spoke to the rep the next morning we were assured it would be delt with and that the guy would not go back there. Since coming home i have learned the guy is still working there to which end we shall not be returning next year so if you do go be warned of this and keep a close eye on any women in your party.

this was a really enjoyable holiday my family had a brill time we all had fun every hour of every day kids had kids clubs and stage coach but my girl didnt enjoy this as much as she enjoyed wavelength, the staff were very friendly and helpfull.my girl age 9 did the climbing and she loved every minute of it,

the food was good, the restraunts were asian, italian and turkish we enjoyed the terkish best, also there was a kids restraunt it contained chips chicken nuggets and all the kids menu, the pool bar was easy to get to and easy to order.

the pool was clean and was washed every week one thing that botherd me was the ear infection which a quarter of the people who swam under warter got.
the hotel was posh and was exactly why you go on your holls, the toilets were oviously regually cleaned and the rooms were perfect for a family and i whould defintly reccomend holiday village!

if you pop into the town sarigermie, you can book a diving day at sarigermie diving school on the main street.i went it was amazing, you get a meal on board so dont worry about taking packed lunch.the meal was one of the best i ever had in the hole fortnight

in turkey there are lots of mosquitos but in sarigermie you can buy a great repellant called sinkof
it worked and only costed 1 pound.
a amazeing holiday

Had heard some very bad reports about this hotel before leaving and was very apprehensive about going.

Felt so relieved when we arrived!.What a wonderful hotel, although there were elements of the hotel not completed overall the whole complex is beautifully set out.

We had a great holiday and enjoyed a lovely selection of food in the buffet restaurant(and 3 A la Carte restaurants with excellent waiter service) .Staff were extremely friendly and you just felt that they wanted you to have a good holiday and had your best interests at heart.

This hotel provides excellent value for money and I did not feel negative about any part of the holiday.Entertainment was really good in the evening with different things to suit all ages.

Everyone in our party had a brill holiday and throughly enjoyed themselves. The coral was amazing to see and was a wonderful experience for us all to share. The beach is at the end of the hotel and it takes you minutes to get out and see an amazing assortment of fish(all for free).

Well worth a visit we are looking to book again for next year.

we stayed here for 2 weeks from 2 aug, our party consisted of myself, hubby and our kids aged 15 and 10 years. we were dreading what we would find as we had read conflicting reports on hv, some reports said it was good whilst others totally rubbished it and were getting money back. On arrival i wasnt impressed with reception area but the guys were very efficient, we were shown to our room and our cases arrived 10 mins later. And what rooms we had!!! as our daughter is 15 we had been told by fc that our room allocation would be 2 kids dens rooms instead of one as they were deemed too small for our party!!! I was worried our kids would be at opposite ends of the hotel but we were next door to each other and my daughter ended up in a queensize bed to herself whilst our son could choose to sleep in the separate den room in our room or in our daughters. the rooms were HUGE!!!!!! air con was fab we had ours like a fridge!!!the food at the hotel was varied and generally of good quality altho the med, chinese and indian were a let down as food was cold and curry was so so mild!!! my lasagne in the mediteraenean rest. was dry and tastless, in our opinion the food in main rest. was better.the staff are lovely a smile and hello go a long way as does the occasional
