The hotel was in a super location, we had several room changes !
I used the hotel health suite and suffered a serious sexual assult !
The hotel & company rep was not interested, they thought it was surfice to offer my husband and i a free meal !!!

An excellent friendly hotel.
Food and service were of a high standard.
I had problems with my safe. No effective batteries and these were eventually replaced with dud batteries. Take some with you.
Entertainment team is all Italian so for non Italian speakers, there was no evening entertainment.
The disc jockey played music with lyrics containing 4 letter words. We complained to the manager. The Italians apologised, and then played the same discs as often as they could thereafter. The Italian entertainment team could be quite rude.
Shame really as it is an excellent hotel

Laguna Vista
Having stayed at the Hostmark in 2002 on our honeymoon and seeing the L.Vista being completed we did not hesitate to take our 2003 holiday there.
What a mistake!!! Yes the property is magnificent but
we had a film crew filming screaming scenes for the first two nights until the wee small hours. Then at 7am sharp the builders started cutting holes in walls.
Having spent 3 dyas like that we spent another trying to get our room changed.
Food was very plentiful if you like pasta.
My husband had a piece of wire in his braised steak but the tray it came from remained out on the buffet for other guests to partake of.
The staff were very surely and unhelpful unless you were Italian.
Entertainment was directed at the Italians

I thought the hotel itself was very nice. The food was pretty awful, but the food being sold in namba bay was pretty crap too so I opted for the hotel food which was the lesser of two evils. okay so the pool is maybe in need of some restoration, but I've seen a lot worse elsewhere in the world. I also agree that the entertainment was pretty crap. Getting to and from sharm town was not a problem as the hotel provides free transportation and certain times and even if you had missed that a taxi fare after some haggling was not that much money. The hotel staff were lovely.
