Try The Beer Kellar Restaurant near to the Moby Dick Also try The Shadow Bar, it is opposite the tall Hotel Dobrugha. Steffy's Bistro alongside the Hotel Dobrugha.

loads to do in albena. arabella beach end is also lovely. it had the best cafe's. very cheap. some of the bars advertised cocktails but sometimes i don't think there was any booze in them, but they cost pennies so you get what you pay for. take a walk to lidi's, very cheap super market. go towards bus station and the taxi drivers will match bus prices, the water park in next resort worth a visit. felt very safe here and it was amazingly clean. lovely resort.

Nice resort with plenty to do.
It was very clean and well maintained.
Entertainment was a bit basic but we prefered to socialise at the bar as we were in a large group.
There were people complaining about lots of different aspects but we had no complaints and could not understand why they were not impressed for the money they paid.
Beach was lovely. Very clean and loads to do if you like water sports.
Would revisit one day maybe but would not rush to book up next year!

Excellant resort, but fairly small and after a week there feel we had seen/done all it had to offer so would not visit again, as would like to see other parts of the country.

The beach was clean enough but when it came to entertainment - well, it was very poor to say the least. Poco Loco's in the centre of the town was almost the only place to go. They advertised Karaoke but we never saw any on there. We didn't see any on at the other Bars/Restaurants either. The most fun we had was in a Fair - we went on beach buggy type stock cars and the funball (using air guns) was brill. We paid almost £64 for four of us to see the Dolphin show which lasted less than half an hour. Oh, a must is to go to one of the photgraph stalls and dress up before having your piccy taken. A few good things but not enough to make you return I'm afraid.

the beaches were spotlessly clean, the resort itself is quite small if you want to do more shopping then i would suggest a trip to golden sands (40 lev return by taxi) or varna (watch out for the beggars)

Loved Albena, very clean,no harrassment and very cheap.
lots of entertainment if you look for it,4 crazy golf, luna park for kids, rides, dodgems, trampolines etc, entertainment in bars and on street.bowling alley next to G point night club.We went to G point a couple of times and walked back to the Albena beach club at about 1am and had no problems at all, very safe.
Only problem we had with the beach was the occasional jellyfish and sometimes the seaweed collected near the edge of the water(i hate seaweed)
For people who like to snorkle there are fish, crabs etc.
The culture centre has a an area where there are lizards, spiders, snakes even a nile crocodile, its 5lev to go in and the man will get things out of the tanks for you.
would love to have property here because i could go back again and again

This place is extremely clean no throwing fags on the pavement! But plenty of bins provided.A very small place and after visitig Turkey i found the "shopping" very disapointing tho you can visit the larger resorts which offers more choice, we didnt bother, much to hubby and kids relief!shops just aint thier scene!Beach is absolutely gorgeous tho it gets too hot to walk on well worth paying for a lounger parasol etc (even an ashtray!) You can go away and come back as its booked for the whole day! I think much to my disapointment really we never seen any "ladies of the night" tho we were never really there that late.We did hear a hillarious story tho!!! You can hire family bike thingies which were a complete pain in the but trying to avoid!Kids ice cream worked out at 40p and when we ate/drank out it was very reasonable.
Poco loco (i think) well worth a visit.
Not like at home-dogs and cats dont rate highly and the few you do see are sorry looking wee things-probably the toughest to survive! If your kids get friendly with a dog on the beach dont worry its not following you just going to the next "easy meal"
