Just got back from Riu Arabella, couldn't fault the cleaning of the hotel, especially the toilets, they were cleaner than the ones at Cardiff airport.

Room was cleaned daily with clean towels and the cleaners made swans and crowns out of the towels, and even left us a couple of sweets.

The hotel was at least 80 percent German, and the usual thing they grabed all the sunbeds in the morning, although you weren't supposed to reserve them. Disappointed that the sun was gone by the pool area by about 4pm completely shaded by the trees.

If you run out of money there is an exchange at reception, I just gave her my debit card, told her I wanted 100 pounds she put it in the machine, and changed it for levs, so we never had to look for a cash point.

This was our second visit to golden sands but our first time at the Arabella

We had a 2 week all inclusive stay when we checked in a sticker was put on our cases and they were whisked up to our room. The room was huge with loads of storage space a massive bed and big bathroom we had a balcony over looking 1 of the out door pools.

All the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

Food was great with a huge selection although my one complaint would be that sometimes it was not hot enough the entertainment team worked really hard to try and amuse everyone and on the whole the shows were quite good.

There were a few nationalities English, Dutch, French and German but everyone got on ok even though the world cup was on at the time.

All I can say is we will definitely be going back

We arrived at 5'o clock in the morning after a horrific journey and a diversion to Borglas Airport due to a thunderstorm. We were met at the coach by the bell boy who took our bags to our room while we checked in.

The room we had been give was huge and extremley clean with a sofa and sitting room area.

The resuarant could not be fault with a large selection for every meal. The sweet counter was to die for.

All staff were very pleasant and helpfull.

The entertainment staff were very entertaining try to cater for all languages(although the hotel was 80% Greman)
We could not fault this hotel.

We went all inclusive to the hotel. The brochure stated that it was 100 metres from the beach and the resort centre. This couldn't have been more correct! We were indeed very close to the beach and the main street. Although we were that close, there was no noise from the clubs etc. It's a great position to be in.

The hotel was very clean - cleaners were there all day making sure everything was nice and tidy. Our room - very large for 2 people - was cleaned very well every day. We had a lovely sea view from our room - really nice to wake up.

There were 2 pools at the hotel. The larger one was used mainly by families with children. We stayed by the smaller pool which was used mostly by the adults - it was very relaxing.

The food was great - being a vegetarian I was I bit worried that I would starve! But it was excellent, we couldn't fault it at all considering there were so many nationalities to cater for. There was also a snack bar open during the day by one of the pools so you could always eat something at any time of day!

The hotel staff were brilliant, they really couldn't do enough for you. The bar staff were always bright and cheery and you never had to wait for a drink - excellent!

We didn't see much of the entertainment,it was ok, but we preferred to head out to the main street!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone - families, single groups (like us) or couples. I'd love to go back.

We booked the holiday on an 'allocate on arrival' basis and were given the Riu Arabella.

We were greeted with champagne on arrival (nice touch) and our bags were whisked away so we could eat in peace as the restaurant was due to close in 30 minutes.

On inspecting our rooms we found we had 2 suites not just rooms!

Throughout the hotel was clean and tidy.

Food was excellent, as was the polite and courteous service from all staff.

Pool/beach towels provided and could be changed twice daily.

Miro and his animation team were always giving it 110% and were very good.

Fantastic hotel, food great and staff could't do enough for you. Had a brilliant time.

Went with husband, daughter (16) and her friend (16). All of us had a lovely time. Hotel is immaculate! Rooms kept clean to an extremely high standard.

Food was great, watch out for the cakes and deserts, they were fab.(No good for those on diets)

Recommend anyone try this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Typical Riu standard...... Fantastic!!!!!

What a fantastic hotel.

Rooms large ,clean and comfortable.

Staff and management bent backwards to make your holiday enjoyable nothing was too much trouble.

Food and choice very good although the bacon at breakfast wasn't Danish!

Entertainment during day good but did not rate the evening but then again just yards away from the hotel we were in the centre of the resort.

Athough we were all inclusive we ate out a few nights to get the feel of the place. Food and drink very cheap and good entertainment all around.

Beach a bit crowded and cost about
