Arrived at Varna airport to be told by the Rep that we could not stay at our original Hotel because of Building work and that we had been moved to the Kaliakra Palace instead...........Bonus!!!
The rooms were lovely and clean each has TV & mini fridge which is enough for most needs and small ice maker. Maid service every day and rooms kept spotless. We were booked in on B&B basis and I only managed to make it down to breakfast twice but food catered for everyone and you could have eggs of any description!!
Hotel is located right on Beach front but you have to go down some pretty steep steps for those with walking difficulties a walk past the pool of the neighbouring hotel could bring you down to the beach without the hassle of the stairs.
Hotel staff were exceptional and just could not do enough to help, in fact we have made good friends with some of the staff and intend to keep in touch with them. Entertainment at the hotel was pretty limited consisting most nights of a middle-aged duo belting out club type songs with a dodgy wig on his head, they did push the boat out one night and hire a snake dancer and fire-eater which was ok.
The hotel foyer has a Dentist, Doctor, Jeweller, Clothes Boutique, Hairdresser and Manicure Salon. The indoor pool is located in the basement as is the magge centre and sauna. Overall a great hotel with good facilities.

This hotel was very clean,rooms, reception area and pool area.The food was not bad, perhaps catered for german visitors more so than english, service excellent standard, very professional. Location of hotel excellent ( unless you have trouble with steps)
entertainment was a bit iffy, but they made an effort and some of the more bulgarian efforts were fun to watch, garden resturant was the thing that sold this hotel for me, excellent views of beach and resort. Position of hotel meant although you were close to the centre of the resort, noise was not a problem, apart from the woman who sang in the hotel garden untill 11pm every night.
I would visit this hotel again in preference to many of the others i saw while there.
