The hotel was fabulous we stayed in a superior room over the Lagoon. We could not fault it.

The towels and bedding were changed daily and the room was adorned with flowers.

The food was superb and the choice was amazing (needed to diet when we got home).

We tried all the trips but the dolphin trip was the best experience ever!!!!(Highly recommended.)

All staff were attentive and catered for all our needs.

The location of the hotel was perfect and we received 5***** attention on pick ups and drop offs. The beach was just right not too busy and no children (heaven). Many a happy hour was spent in the billiard and beach bars.

We loved the holiday so much we're going back in Sept 05 along with four friends we made there last year. Overall the holiday, staff, cleanliness, food, location and entertainment were amazing THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Heaven does exist on earth. This is the best holiday we have ever had. The food is out of this world the cocktails and beer second to none. The staff are wonderful and the location is breath taking. You couldn't ask for more. Also if you are looking for a relaxing break as a couple it is adults only.

First off...Melia Cayo CoCo was a very exciting place to visit. The staff was very kind and it was not only for the tip. The service and food were great as well as the entertainment. Bernardo Perez was one of our waiters, he was very polite and friendly. Grimmy Sardina was also among the great people who had the oppertunity to serve us. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and would love to be a guest once again.

Stayed at Melia Cayo Coco in April 2004. After reading reviews we were a little concerned. Totally unfounded. We enjoyed every minute of our time there. The food was very good, weather glorious and the staff really friendly. On the odd occasion when we forgot to take any dollars out with us there was no difference in the service we received. The entertainers were amazing. We had such a good time we are actually going back tomorrow to the same hotel. Bar staff and waiters were very attentive. We made friends with William and Alex from the animation team and all they asked us to bring with us was chocolate and Nutella coc spread. We are of course taking soap which is very expensive, England T. Shirts and some treats for them. Can't wait.

This was our honeymoon destination and we enjoyed every minute of it. Hotel was lovely and clean. The staff all extremely friendly though it was for the tips! We got very fed up with tipping and we spent a fortune so take lots of dollar bills, if you don't tip you will get bad service.
Also expect to be serenaded every night, stops being romantic after the first time.
No life on these islands except for tourists, we got a bit bored as we couldn't go to a local cafe or bar. Did go on loads of excursions instead, and that was great.
The food became very bland and everything started tasting the same, chose the freshly cooked food instead of the buffet. Sprouts for beakfast anyone?!
Rooms were nice but not much in the mini bar so nag reception for drinks.
Pool was very clean and good sports facilities too.

The hotel was great, adults only. No kids!
The swimming pool was freezing. The beach was full
of jelly fish.
Food was excellent, and staff attentive.
The hotel was the last one along the strip, quite a distance from town, etc.
Highly recommend lagoon rooms, beautiful view.
Alcohol plentiful and good. Try a mojito (rum, mint and club soda).
Don't think I'd travel to Cuba again, much prefer Mexico.
Comparing other resorts around the area to this, this is definitely better in every way.
