We had a fine 1 week break at this hotel and were impressed with the food and drink, the weather, the pleasant staff and very few kids (we travelled in term time).
The two swimming pools were always clean with plenty of spare sunbeds and shades, you could get a sunbed in any location at any time.
The beach is OK and seemed popular with many guests although the sand didn't entice us away from the pool except for a stroll.
This is the 2nd year this hotel has offered AI and has built a reputation that attracts many E.European and Russian guests who take full advantage of the AI refreshments on offer! During my visit there was few Brits and Germans and many Russian and ex-USSR states visitors.
We were located in the new part of the hotel and the room was vast with a king size bed and quality fixtures and fittings - couldn't fault it at all.
In summary this Hotel is of fine quality (not sure if it would rate as 5* outside of Cyprus) where we had a relaxing break enjoying fine food and drink.
Don't go here if you want a hotel in the heart of a busy resort with a fine sandy beach, or with discos and clubs nearby, these are 20 mins away in the city centre, and the fine sandy beach much further !

After emailing Clare above we deceided to vist this hotel . We had a fantastic week . Food and drink excellent so much choice I fell in love with the Kir Royals !! Vast cocktail list and all international branded drinks not cheap local stuff
Beach is lovely and sandy and safe.
Rooms are a very good size with fridges in . Lovely big double bed crisp white sheets.
Enjoyed it so much have booked to go back in September this time as a package
Only downfall was at meal times in buffet retaurant we would eat about 9.00pm but there were still a lot of children running about - quiet scary when you are carrying hot food !! . Some parents just let their children run riot.

We stayed here for 10 days and wished we had booked 2 weeks!!

The hotel is set outside of Limassol - which was not a problem as far as we were concerned, we visited limassol one morning and we were not very impressed with the town itself.

The hotel is set on the beach with its own marina close by and the hotel is also set in beautiful grounds/gardens. The hotel and grounds are kept immaculately clean by the army of cleaners who still have time to smile and say hello when you see them.

The swimming pools are great especially the new one with the waterslide - kids and adults alike enjoyed going down the slide!! There is a very shallow baby pool with a sunshade pulled over it for little ones to play in. Then there is another big pool with a swim up bar. There are also 2 very nice playgrounds.

We had a excutive suite in the new family block of the hotel for myself, husband and 2 daughters. It was a nice spacious room with plenty of storage space. The kids had bunk beds which they loved - these beds could also be folded away when not needed to give you a bit of extra space and there was also a sliding door which shut off the kids section from the main room so if the kids were in bed you could still watch tv etc in the main room without disturbing them too much. The bathroom was a good size and nicely decorated. The room also had tea/coffee making facilites in the room and a wall mounted flat screen tv - although the only english channels were sky news and bbc world but that was all we needed. There was a minibar in the room too, which was stocked with drinks and snacks but we didnt use it (there is an extra charge for this).

The remaining adult in the party had a single room in the main hotel which was also spacious and clean. The safe in the room is free to use as is the computers in the business center by reception if you want to use the internet.

The food was excellent, Breakfast was in the octogon restaurant - there was the usual eggs (scrambled/boiled/fried) bacon, sausages, tomatoes etc then a choice of 5 cereals, fresh and dried fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, croissents, danish pastries, pain au chocolat etc etc The waiting staff bought tea and/or coffee to the table for you or there was fruit juices or champagne to drink if you wished to!!

Lunch could be taken either in the octogon restaurant (buffet) there is a chocolate fountain going in here every lunchtime with fruit and marshmallows to dip in it - not sure who enjoyed this most- kids or adults!!! Or you could also have lunch in the Splash restaurant by the new family block or in the beach bar restauarant - both of these were fast food type things, pizza, beefburgers etc with a big choice of salads and cold meats and cheese.

There was also wide choice of drinks available on all inc. which included a wide variety of cocktails and milkshakes (strawberry, chocolate & vanilla) which were made with 2 scoops of ice cream and were yummy!! you could also get choc ice type ice creams.

Dinner was served in the palladium restaurant which was abit posher than the others but not at all intimidating. The food was excellent here too - we did not ever have a meal where we had to struggle to find something to eat in fact it was more of a problem to decide what to try first!! For desserts there was a wide choice, including the most delicious cheesecakes and strawberry gateauxs and also cheese & biscuits and fresh fruit.

The staff were all superb without exception from the cleaners right up to the reception staff and restaurant managers all of them were friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home and at ease.

But a special mention has to go to the kids club staff who really looked after the kids and made an effort to make them feel welcome and occupied them with lots of activites - especially on the few days when it rained when we were there. The kids disco in the evening was also great fun for kids and adults alike. My two girls loved the kids club and were upset on our last night at the thought of going home but were consoled with hugs and kisses from the staff which shows how much they care about the kids in their care.

To sum up - a fantastic family all inclusive hotel where you will be made to feel welcome.

We want to go back as soon as possible!!!
