The hotel was clean and tidy.Rooms cleaned daily, the staff were never too busy too help you in anyway. We went for christmas, and although we had a lovely holiday, the hotel was not very full and not very many English people there!!

The hotel food was generally good but a little repetative by the second week. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk to naama bay out the back of the hotel!!

Someone will show you if you cant find it! The hotel staff are great, no brilliant!! And the waiters in the main restaurant are helpful to a fault, especially same!! The staff loved the children.

The entertainment was not brilliant,But traditional, we put this down to the hotel not being full, and not very many children there and out of season? But did think with it being christmas there would of been more going on.

However they did an amazing job on christmas eve and new years eve with their show and gala dinners!!

This hotel was fantastic but we did have a couple of issues. The location was excellent just a 5 minute walk in to Naama Bay. The hotel was very clean and all rooms were serviced daily with fresh towels.

The staff in the hotel were excellent, could not do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble.

Food menu was very limited. Would of liked to see more choice as the menu seemed to be repeated every other day and after two weeks was a bit boreing. Sometimes meal times was a bit of an experiance as the hotel is mainly used by egyptians on hoildays and im sorry to say but they tend to push you out and have a little priority over English. This was very annoying after a while. The staff try their best though.

Sharm Holiday Resort was excellent. We travelled with my daughter and boyfriend.

The towels and sheets were changed everyday, the room had a fridge and satellite TV with an English movie channel.

There is 2 pools both cleaned every night. There is an entertainment programme everyday centred around the pool.

The food was good not always to our liking but mainly because we are fussy eaters very cheap to eat out.

The entertainment was the usual dancing, singing and plays a bit corny.

Lastly the staff I cannot put into words we felt we were leaving our family behind I cannot wait to get back to see them again.

The location is good a 5 minute walk into the centre, a minibus to the private beach runs all day.

Highly recommended.

Thought from the brochure picture , we had made mistake - wrong!!!

Absolutely fabulous hotel , yes there are many much more pricey hotels , this however was the best pound for pound holiday we have ever had and we have travelled far and wide to many many countries.

If you can tell me a place for the value they charge please do , the staff are superb , from cleaners pool staff waiters managers they were superb . Read one or two poor results on web sites , "what do people want , perhaps the food was not particulatly British ,well lets get more British people going then .

A special thank you to all the staff for all they did see you again definitely

Before I book a holiday I always try and research a bit more into the hotel, this year however I couldn't find much to tell me about Sharm Holidays Hotel so was a little nervous as to what it would be like!

I needn't have worried as the hotel is lovely. It's exceptionally clean and all the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

There is a free safety deposit box at reception as well as Internet access and a luggage room if you are leaving later than the 12 noon checkout time.

The pool bar is great if you need some shade and the food they offer there is very cheap for the amount you get!

The pools are both very clean and spacious. We tended to stay around the older pool as that is where the activities take place (my boyfriend loved the volleyball)and it was also closer to our room. There were plenty of sun beds and umbrellas available around both pools.

There was a variety of food available on the half board option with pastries, cereals, eggs, pancakes etc available for breakfast. For the evening meal there was pasta, meat, fish, rice, bread, salads. There was plenty of variety but it did get a little boring eating similar things for 2 weeks. However, if you do fancy a change the food in Na'ama Bay is really cheap!

The location was excellent!

Our hotel room was near the little path that takes you into Na'ama Bay so it was only a 5 minute walk into the centre.

We did a couple of trips and on the bus to pick up other people we realised how good a location our hotel had as quite a lot of the other hotels are very far away from Na'ama Bay and surrounded by unfinished buildings!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to visit Sharm El Sheikh!

The hotel was extremely clean. The reception area is a little dated but is still well kept and presented. The hotel appears to have 2 halves, an older and a newer part with a swimming pool in each part.

We stayed in the newer part which was quieter than the older part, as this is the area where the morning pool aerobics and the evening entertainment takes place.

The rooms also appeared larger and more up to date than in the older part.

The swimming pool was a good size and was always clean.

There is currently a bar being built where you can swim up and order drinks!

The staff were extremely friendly and were always obliging.

We stayed for 2 weeks half-board and ate in the restaurant every night for the first week. In the second week there was nothing that we fancied to eat, despite there being a selection; always a meat dish, a fish dish, vegetables, rice or potatoes, salads, pasta.

There was a disco held once a week at the hotel and a 'folklore' show once a week, which was not very exciting. Most nights there was a live singer near to the bar.

We found the location perfect, it was not right in the centre of Na'am bay but was only a 5 minute walk away, so was very quiet and relaxing. A frequent and free shuttle bus is provided into the centre if you don't fancy the walk.

We stayed there for 2 weeks it was a1 hotel spotless.

All staff were brilliant so much so we are going back again in September 2005 for 2 weeks to the same place.

Also met a lovely chap in the picture shop Sobhi was his name we had lunch with him and the guy from the shop across from him.

Would recommend this hotel any time dont forget to visit the tavern bar great place for a good drink. Enjoy your stay.

We travelled to Sharm holiday hotel in Aug 2004, it was on half board basis, however utilised this rarely considering we had stomach problems for two weeks.

The food was terrible.

We had booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children and an infant and a room for my parents. However were allocated a two room accommodation with an adjoining door between, which was totally unsuitable. After insisting my parents have a room of there own the hotel said we can get you two separate rooms but you cannot keep the family room with the adjoining door. This was just the beginning of the problems. The patio door would not open most days in our new room we had a leak from the ceiling. the cleanliness of the room was terrible.

We needed lots of bottled water for our baby for sterilising bottles, and to our dismay were very disappointed with the reaction from the hotel stating we could store it in the lobby and would have to ask for a few bottles at a time to take to our room. The hotel were very reluctant to allow you to bring any food or drink in from outside.

We decided to go to the hotel beach but wished we had not, It was like sardines. It was nearly impossible to get a sun lounger or brolley.

Finally we requested to keep our room on beyond 12pm as our flight was later that day, however were told that all rooms were booked and there were no courtesy rooms available. Having sat in the sun with a baby and our luggage all day we noted the room was never used, this was an absolute disgrace.

This is a low class hotel which certainly did not accommodate the English in our experience, so anyone going to this hotel, beware.

Sharm Holiday is a magnificent Naama Bay destination, no matter if you prefer staying within or outside of the hotel. Some tourist agencies cathegorize it for a 3 and some for a 4 star hotel, but according to me the second "grade" is more adequate to express the reality.

First of all, I must say that the resort is extremely clean, each day the rooms are cleaned- the towels and bed sheets are changed during breakfast time, so in most cases you wont even realize when all the cleaning is done. If you decide to leave a 2-3 LE tip, you may expect different types of "presents" from the cleaning person, such as flowers, or towels decorated and put in various funny shapes.

As for the food, there is nothing to complain about either- you can choose from a variety of vegetables, fruits, meet, fish, pasta, and delicious desserts, so im positive everyone will find something that will fit their taste.
If you want to take part in Naama Bay's nightlife events, this hotel is just ideal for you. It is located on a quiet hill just 800m away from the main road, so it will not take you more than 10 minutes to get to the main city destinations. Also, the hotel beach is just 10 minutes away from the resort, so its not that bad, especially that hotel transportation is being organized a few times a day to both places.

The daily attractions of the hotel may be the only thing i can complain about, but its only because i am not an italian-speaking person, so i could not really get into contact with the animation staff. Most of all, they spent time with the numerous italian tourists, talking to them, playing volleyball, so i sort of felt like an outsider, because they mostly kept together all the time. But, as I said, if you do not necessesarily require "entertainment from the animation squad" you wont feel any discomfort at all with this situation. Sharm Holiday is a definate must-be!
