From the moment we arrived we were given a poor impression of The Stars. We were not greeted and simply pointed in the direction of our apartment by a very poor Rep.
I would be very wary about booking the Star Studios again. It deffinately lives up to its 2 star reputation and should not be booked by those wishing a true self catered holiday as the facilities do not support this. It was reasonably clean, however the maid did occasionaly forget to come.
Star studios is situated on the main road into St Georges and is a 10-15min walk into the centre and a 25min walk to the beautiful beaches. The roads like most Greek roads offer little lighting and no pavements, which due to the sharp bends can be difficult to navigate at night, the elderly may find this trip difficult.
The facilities at the star studios are also basic with a small pool, however the owner does not charge for the sun loungers surrounding it a kindness we were reminded of and is made up for in his inflated food and drink prices. Guests who choose not to patronise his bar for food and drink are viewed poorly and as a result may find him difficult (often rude and on occasion aggressive) if assistance required. During our stay no entertainment or theme nights were offered despite being addvertised.
The studios are isolated and surrounded on all sides by vinyards and olive groves, which unfortunately means that wasps can be found in abundance making the consumption of anything sweet smelling very difficult.

We were met by the owners on our arrival and shown to our room. The room was clean and very comfortable.
There is a bar on site and a very good restaurant which charges the same prices as all the local bars and restaurants.The hotel is a 10min walk from the village centre and its main beach.
The resort is family run so there is always someone behind the bar.The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I will definately be back next year.

what can i say about stars one of the best holidays the family has had kostas and his family made you feel so welcome and no way did we see any aggression . so relaxing and the food was great .his prices are not high and you come and go as you please .we were so impressed we have booked for next year

From the moment we arrived at Stars we were made to feel welcome. We were met by Mila who showed us to our immaculately clean accommodation. After unpacking we made our way to the bar area where we were again made to feel welcome by Kostas... the best possible start to a holiday is when you are made to feel comfortable.
The accommodation may be rated 2 star but thanks to Kostas and Mila the holiday was a 5 star experience and we are definately returning. The walk to the front takes approximately 10 minutes, anyone who has travelled to Greece will know not to expect the greatest of roads, lighting etc. but this was really not a problem.
The entertainment that is put on by Kostas should not be missed and the food is superb, prices are not inflated nor are the prices of drinks.
The pool area is small, clean and relaxing, we met some really nice people all of whom were delighted with their choice of holiday, if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing time choose Stars.

We just returned from a great holiday thanks to Stars.
The food at stars was excellent thanks to mila she really is a fab cook.
Its a little walk from resort centre, but still a great place to visit.
You can definitely relax there with the great views and surroundings, but really you dont need to go out as you can have a fine night in at the bar with Costar.
We will be going back soon.

From the moment we landed-early morning-Kostas was there to help with our bags from the road.
The rooms were cleaned thoroughly, meals by Mila were excellent and evening entertainment very funny.
The pool area was clean and very relaxing.
10 min stroll to beach and bars, no hills to climb.
We were made to feel welcome by Kostas and his lovely family, many people there being return visitors.
Would definitely recommend it if your looking for a slow paced, relaxing holiday.
We will be back!
