Rodos village, we've been twice now and we are going back in 2007, the staff are great,and the animation team, well put it this way my daughter was heart broken to leave them.
She's hoping to do that sort of work herself when she leaves school. how anyone could say thay didnt enjoy staying there, Well they are sad and not in the holiday spirit, you can please yourself, in what you want to do, relax or join in the fun.
All the best to the team and we'll see you next year.

This hotel was probably a 5* a few years ago, but a 3* is more realistic. The hotel reception area is very impressive, as is the view from the hotel to the sea. The receptionists (depending on whose on duty)were quite surly and at times rude.
The drinks were great, beer(Lowenbrau)and spirits were good. We dont drink wine so couldn't comment on that. Ice creams were tasty, lunch time snacks of pizza, salad, chips (v. greasy but kids didnt mind), and hotdogs. Food in hotel of an evening was hit and miss, but could usually find something edible most nights. Cheap cust of meat, not a chicken breast in a fortnight!. Italian restaurant, for which you must prebook was lovely shame you couldnt eat there every night!
The pools were very cold, and cleaned only every other day which is not enough in high season. The floor areas were very clean. Not towels on sunbeds before 8am, otherwise they end up at reception which is a great idea and worked well. Beach was nice & quite, soft shingle beach, all inclusive bar and snacks & icecream available there too.
Entertainment was great, a bit full on during the day, but they never hassle you to do anything you dont want to. Evenings are a bit rowdy, mini disco, bingo, and then a show, but they work very hard and some nights it was great. However if you dont enjoy it there is NOTHING else to do, the area is dead apart from one bar and restaurant and a couple of supermarkets. The kids enjoyed it so cannot complain, if they're happy, we're happy. However, wouldnt return here as food not great and a bit too far out of the way.

I agree that this is no longer a 5* hotel - perhaps it was some time ago but is now getting tired.
Mostly clean and staff helpful.
The food became boring after a few days - I could not have taken it for more than 1 week.
The beach (though it is stones not sand) was much quieter than the hotel pools.
There was little in the resort itself so it would not suite someone hoping for an opportunity to have evening walks to shops etc.

The hotel was spot on, I am a fussy eater, but had no problems with the choice and quality of the food. The bar snaks were good and the Lowenbrau beer was good also.
The entertainment was out of this world, Macram's Animation team were amazing. The kids disco, followed by Bingo and a show, then disco to midnight.
I really didnt want to come home.
I will definatley be back to the hotel, the staff are really nice, apart from a couple of snooty receptionists.
The rooms get cleaned once a day and the place is spotlessly clean.

The hotel is fantastic, the staff were great, the rooms were lovely if you were in the main part of the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day and as a family of four the rooms had tons of space.
The food in the main resturant was good did not find anything to moan about in the whole eleven days we were there, if you do get bored the is an italian resturant at the top pool if you fancy a change.

Kurtz kept everybody laughing for the whole day every day and at night the whole team were fab! Makrim, Kurtz, Lorenzo, Miriam and Barbra had the whole hotel in stitches with their fantastic shows which they put on every night themselves. The bar staff were great and very welcoming they could not do enough for us.
The beach is just a short walk away and you also get the all inclusive at the beach, the beach is very clean and loads to do there.
We only booked this holiday a week before we left for eleven nights and we should have booked it for two weeks as we did not want to come home!! This was the best holiday we have ever had and we are thinking of going back in september.
So, if you want a holiday where you can have as much fun as your kids then go to this hotel.

The hotel is not 5 star maybe 4*, it is clean but the standard of food is poor, ie fruit juice is terrible, could not eat the fried breakfast, quality of main meals is poor.
One of the biggest complaints when we were there was the lack of sunbeds plus the ones that were there were falling to bits.
The all inclusive drinks were awful.
Staff are cheerful.

This place was fantastic, very clean, lovely friendly staff and obviously the people that don't enjoy the food prefer pie and chips!
Breakfast juices are a little on the sweet side but you can have tea, chocolate and coffee for breakfast, even WATER!
There is a varied choice of food for breakfast from a croissant ( freshly made) to fried eggs and bacon. All the main meals are excellent. The hotel caters for people from Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Spain and and ensure that they incorporate some of each of the countries foods in to the menu... not an easy job! My husband is very fussy but he found food to eat and my son is even fussier yet he coped.
The pools are fantastic, clean and there is a great entertainment team on hand, Lorenzo and Kurt are brilliant! Sunbed wise, we got 4 of these every day and we weren't on the pool side until at least 10.00am each morning. The Germans and Danish preferred the beach (word of warning it is a shingle beach).
Staff are all really friendly and helpful, though I do think that some of the reception staff are a little to full of themselves. Need to come down a peg or two.

We had a fantastic time. The food was excellent although after the 1st week it does getting a bit boring.
The staff were excellent, there was a total of 20 people in our party. We all traveled to Rhodes as my Father inlaw was getting married. The management layed on a top table which was decorated and the wedding march was played for the happy couple as they entered. They also closed down the Pizzria where the function was to be held. and all the staff stayed on late to help with the function. Specilal foos was layed on and All 3 hotel managers were there to ensure the function went well. This was all done at no extra cost.
The animation team was brilliant for all the family.
One of the best holidays I have had.
I recommend this holiday and every person in my party would agree with me. Well done Rhodos Village!!!

I loved my holiday here, I'm only 16 years old and usually would like to be surrounded by clubs and bars. Although the hotel location was bad I really enjoyed the entertainment and the animation team were superb and very friendly.
The rooms were lovely, the food was nice and I would recommend this hotel for anyone.
A fantastic holiday altogether would go any time again!!!

My husband and I really had a great time .
The staff were very helpful the food was lovely. The hotel was clean and the maid came ever day with clean towels and bedding. The pools are fantastic the views are lovley.
The animation team did alot with the kids and they are very friendly. We are going to take our children to this hotel,this summer. I would recommend this hotel for couples and familes.
