I like it. Most rooms have a sea view, the higher you go the better itd be. Youll have to walk uphill. As youd expect. Its worth it.

Rooms that are pool facing. All the restaurants we tried were very good.
There aren’t any water parks in the resort apart from the one in the large hotel for hotel guests.

Although this is a small resort there is enough to keep you occupied. The beaches were clean and the sea stayed quiet shallow so good for kids.
On the beach, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by to keep you fed and watered. Sunbed and Brolley hire was a 4 Euro's for each, so if there is a group of you this gets a bit expensive.
The Spar by the beach was slightly more expensive than the shop in the main square, so worth taking the walk.

The resort is (well not very busy) & not a lot to do only two buses to other resorts they leave at approx 9-9.30 most days well worth a day out. There are only a few shops & bars one has a mini golf course & glass bottom boat ride (lasts an hour) the 2pm slot gets a bit busy the boat only seats about 25 people.
The beach is a bit dirty ciggie stumps everywhere the beach does not seem to be cleaned at night as in most resorts I have been to. The water is crysal clear you can see the fish well worth buying the kids a net.
The small beach area has lovely chill out music played all day from the Zulu bar,dead relaxing.
The kids loved Portinax us adults found it a bit too relaxing and very very hilly.
Back to Salou next I think.

The beaches here are gorgeous, very safe and if you get some bread the fish eat out of your hand. You get the usual water sports ie pedalos, banana boat etc but they are great for the kids. The whole place is very clean we couldn't fault it.
Not much to do in the resort as a whole, there are a few shops, but once you've been in 1 you really have been in them all.
We would definately return to this resort. If your looking for a totally chilled holiday where the kids are happy and safe then this is the place.

This resort is fantastic - very little in way of shops but very good all the same. Don't forget to visit Del Boys - great place with a great atmosphere and lovely staff.
People very friendly in resort and with it being small you get to know or recognise the locals who will always give you a friendly smile.
Will go back to Portinatx but to a different hotel.

The resort itself was very small, with only a few shops in the main square. Lots of supermarkets, and two very nice souvenier shops whose owners are from England. The beach is fairly small and there are lots of boats tied up in the bay. You can hire a pedalo and there is also a glass bottom boat which leaves every hour from the side of the bay, it was quite inexpensive to go on and was very enjoyable as it takes you around the other bays for about one hour. The beach is very clean and has some trees and rocks at the rear. We never experienced any of the resort entertainment as there was plently at the hotel, although there were some bars and restaurants overlooking the bay which looked very nice. Yes we would visit this resort again, but only because the hotel was fantastic.

This was my 7th time in ibiza, my 1st in portinatx this wee gem of a resort had a lovely beach( 2 or 3 other beaches nearby if you decide to go for a dander to enjoy the surrounding countryside of portinatx.
The resort had most things, 14 or 15 bars-restaraunts my personal favourite to watch the sunset was the zulu lounge (just left of the larger beach this beach bar could rival mambo'caf'e del mar it was like winding the clock back for an old 35 year old father of 2 like me), 3 chinese restaraunts, taxi rank, bus stops to other resorts, the locals were as normal in ibiza very friendly and helpfull.
If you should find yourself in portanatx this will sum it up for you a "great family resort"

a spectacually beautiful resort, stunning views all around you, the beaches are very clean and well kept. the entertainment was limited but a couple of bars always had something going on.

Although it is quiet it was nice and I felt safe at all times.
Best place to go for duty frees is a place called Boozy Buys well cheap and the staff are very nice too.
There is only two cash machines there so I was glad I took travellers cheques.

Portinatx was great for a quiet relaxing week.There are just a handfull of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.Just a short walk from our Hotel were the two english bars Delboys and Vincents.Both were great and had always seemed to have quizzed/games/drag acts on ect.
The resort is very picturesque with pine tree covered hills and a lovely beach.We went on the little train ride and there was also a boat trip and buses available.We will definately go again!It was perfect for a week though possibly a little quiet for a fortnight.

This resort(Portinatx) is spotless there is no mess or rubbish lying around at all.
There is really not much to do other than sunbathe as the resort is very small so, there are not many bars etc.
The beach is small but, there are a few little coves and they are all very clean.
Personally we would not visit this resort again as there was not enough to keep us occupied in the evening`s and it is too far from everywhere else that does have a bit more laid on.
