We only used San Antonio as a base for exploring Ibiza so didn't go out much in the resort itself.

It seems like it's mainly for younger people who enjoy the clubbing scene. Lots of clubs, bars, restaurants.

Don't go out at night if you're easily offended - lots of loud and mostly drunk people around.

Nice beach and harbour.

we stayed at the far end of san antonio bay and had about 10 minuites stroll to the westend and the town.
The beach was ok, water lovely and shallow to take a dip in to cool off. hire sunbeds outside bay bar, 10 euros for 2 beds and an umberella and you also get a mattress and pillow thrown in!
the weather was amazing, they were in the middle of a heat wave when we got there. The hotels can get quite muggy at night so hiring a fan should help.
loved de tulp, great hammocks to chill out in whilst sipping cocktails. bay bars right next door and have a live reggae singer every friday.
the westend is soo busy and every bar has pr's trying getting you in. we were offered 5 drinks for 5 euros. this usually contained a pint of vodka and redbull and 2 sex on the beaches. (they were tiny glasses) and san miguel.
loved the sunset strip. to avoid paying silly prices we used to pop in the spar grab some bottles and drink on the rocks outside mambo. futher down from mambo on the right is a lovely bar. not sure of the name but it has low lighting and cushions on the floor and bambo sun loungers. the cocktails are fab!
we used to use the bus boats most days as they take you to some lovely beachs normally around 3 euroes ech way.
we also took the bus to playa den bossa to try out the water park. its around 18 euros for adults and not that great. had a few pools, 1 kamakarzie, few slides to go down on floats and two racing rides. no lazy river.
the beach in playa den bossa was fab, miles long with a wide white sandy beach. the downside was the sea was quite choppy here and had rocks in the water.
we hired a quad bike one day and this is a great way to explore and find different beaches.
only went to es paradise in terms of the big clubs. went to clubland on the tuesday, cost 40 euros each. it advertises bar prices for this night but prices dont drop until after 2am and i still payed 13 euros for 2 bottles of water!
the resort is fairly clean, noisy at night but has a variety of things to do such as mini golf and go carting. if you go as a family definatly advise you to head for pink panther bar at night as its situated in a calmer part of the resort, surrounded by loads of simular bars and restaurants.
would go back to ibiza as its fab, may try a differnt resort next time though.

San An is fantastic it has something for everyone, the beaches are not bad but Cala Basa, Cala Conte and Cala Cracio are within easy reach. Visit Formentara if you get the chance, get the bus to Ibiza Town then ferry to the island, about forty euros but weel worth it for a day out.

a little expensive and obviously very booze driven. I went off peak and it was quite pleasant, the locals are friendly and helpful, but I imagine that at peak times this resort can be a bit of a nightmare.

The resort was mainly verey clean however i dont think the locals know how to clean there dogs mess up.
The entertainment in the resort wasnt so good 4 familys and would possibly suit couples more
The beach was quite poor and very small but you can ge a water taxi to better beaches

We found the resort to be clean but there were parts of the resort that was being used by locals for dog walking hense the vast amount of doggy poo.
There was nearby pubs ie Pink Panther that we visited on numerous occasions that held pub quizs music and showed most of football, and many more if you didn't fancy going into san antonio.
The beach standard was very good but the nearest sandy beach was in san antonio, we visited local beaches via a short bus ride @ E1.45
