theres pleny of bars if you have small children with the slides and bouncy castles and bulls to ride not much on offer if children that bit older ie 10/12 , its nice having the ferry to cross over into the town but that can get expensive for a family of 4, the best thing is watching the famous sunset sat on the beech with a drink from the supermarket while the kids are happy playin in the sand

we stayed in the bay, it has a beautiful promenade around the beach, which takes you in san antonio itself

san antonio is very lively, but the bay is alot quieter, both are within walking distance of each other, or you can get a boat taxi across, which goes from the promenade every 15 minutes, which is great for seeing the beautiful views, and is very cheap

some great shops in san antonio, as well as alot of clubs, admission and drinks are expensive in the clubs, but well worth going to

I loved the bay, was just right for us, we were fit to have a relaxing holiday, during the day, and could go out and party in the evenings

we would definitely go back to ibiza, it is a lovely island, well worth visiting

the resort of san antonio is great really good fun ive been numrous times and keep comin back. the bars ahve a great atmosphere and the drinks are cheap enough, the clubs have an amazing atmoshphere however they are more pricey. i would def recomend goin to a big club at least once. the beach in san anontio is not the best however you can get a boat to one of the nicer beacher dead cheap.

san antonio bay was nice but whilst we were there they were making it into a one way system so there was alot of building work going on and they were tarmacing the main road, which was awful as we had to dodge bits a tarmac that was still sticky, a hard thing to do with a buggy. our 4 year old got tamac all over his new shoes which was a pain.when the resort has been finshed it will be fine,
the beach looked lovely in the thomson broucher but it was awful, dirty and on our 3rd day of our hol a guy tried to charge us 6 euros for 3 sunbeds and a parasol(24 euros) in total we rufused and left ,we went by our hotel pool and saw him later working at the hotel,we dont mind paying for sunbeds but 24 euros every day is a bit much.the water taxi to san antonio was brill we used to walk in and get the taxi back it drops you off right outside the hotel.i would go bask here when the resort was finished properly.

This was our second visit to San Antonio bay. There are patches of waste land up and down which could do with cleaning up but on the whole it,s clean enough.

There is something for everyone in the bay with loads of bars and resturants. We spent our time going between the pink panther, donnogans and the bucanneero.

Will be going back for the third time next year.

The resort of San Antonio Bay, although our hotel was the first into the bay and closer to the town, is ok. We went in October (end of) and it really was like a ghost town. A lot of the restaurants, bars and shops were already closed. As were all of the clubs throughout the island apart from one. The hotel (arenal) was just across the road from Club eden.

The resort itself was very clean, and well kept, a promenade allows you to walk all the way round from the bay to the town, or take the water taxi. The weather however wasnt good, and they werent always available. We didnt expect it to be as it was, so quiet. And im sure in high season, its far less appealing than it already was. the beach was ok, cleanish, but hard sand, water shallow but FAR too cold to be venturing into (thank god for the indoor heated pool!)

we've put 2 for the entertainment score, because so much was closed, and even tho it was the end of the season, we had hoped some of the bars with the kids entertainment etc would be open, it wasnt the case.

We hired a car and travelled the island extensively, there were some nice beaches at Portinax (where some of south pacific was filmed) but, even these wouldnt be enough to bring us back to the island. Ibiza town was nice, but even the old town hardly opened. We'd hoped after walking to the cathedral at the top, that there would be plenty of places on the way down open, and were told of the entertainment in the street, it seems that all came to an end well away from the end of the season. I would certainly give Ibiza a miss anytime from mid september (earlier if you want the clubs! as they start closing down at this time!)

there were some nicer beaches further down the coast from Ibiza town, although facilities were again closed the beach was nicer than San Antonio bay.

there is a small "noddy" train, which takes you out of the town and into some of the local area, the driver was wholly annoying, but the kids enjoyed it.

Bus services good, and the bus station is situated not far from the Bay. There's also a go karting area out of the main town, (quite a hike!)

Some good restaurants overlooking the fountains, apart from one where the service was terrible. Prices a little higher than those up on the main streets, but these were far nicer. there was also a little kids playground in the square.

Remember that you cant buy duty free on the plane home, so either get it in the resort or at the airport, there is one Tabacs down overlooking the bay to buy them from, its a tiny shop and you could miss it. but plenty of parking if you have a car, and this was the same all over the island, It was also cheap or free in most of the places.

We went to the market at Es Canar, but suffered a pick pocketing, and lost both cash and a PSP from our bag! the main police were helpful in reporting this (we needed to for insurance purposes) but its sad that these things happen regardless of how much care and attention you take. most of the stuff was rubbish however, but some items were really nice. Some of the sellers get quite agressive, but dont be afraid to barter and come in at least a 1/4 of the price they are asking . . .we bought a leather bag which he wanted 50 euros for, but we got it for 15 after bartering . . . but leather etc is cheap in the shops and you may find you can buy better things there.

All in all, we wouldnt return to ibiza. I was disappointed in the island, and although I realise it was the end of season, just imagined it to be more lively than it was. there are things to do, enough for a week, wouldnt ever dream of going here for longer. But we rarely go back to the same place (only place we are going back to is Olu Deniz in Turkey, which despite all of the places we have travelled, including the Caribbean, nothing has come close to!) and unfortunately Ibiza certainly doesnt.

On arrival, dissapointed with resort, found lots of grafity around resort on buildings, seats and along promenade.

Beach areas seemed to receive little attention, sand hard and compacted not being raked, grass growing through areas of sand. Not what you would expect of a beach resort.

Although promenade recently upgraded, it would seem that san antonio is seriously lacking investment compared with other resorts.

There are plenty of pubs and bars offering food and drink at competative pricing. With night clubs for those who like to party.

Having heard that San Antonio town is for the party animal. We were very suprised with how quiet the resort was by day, with couples and families taking advantage of the beach etc. which was nice.

On a whole we would not visit this resort again, not terrible, but have been to nicer places such a neighbouring Majorca.

We returned on Sat from here for our second year in a row and although i was concerned before i went cos of the reviews we had an amazing time yet again!

Fodd is fantastic and no disrespect but if anyone complains they must be extremely fussy eaters i mean we have 3 children ages 6,5 and 16 months and there was something for everyone!!
It was a little disappointing not to be able to use the other pools this year and the pool at Tanit was fairly busy on our first week but there is a fab beach and you can still get beds down by the other pool and it is beautiful so don't know what all the fuss is about!
Well as the the fiesta staff we know them from last year and speak regularly to Pico etc and they are fantastic Dj sadly won't be there next year but him and Pico are fantastic and Chris well my daughter was besotted with hm and he was fab with her! Lou and Dana too such fab girls and made you feel part of the family!!

all in all i suppose if you go July and Aug its gonna busy but thats life we went 1st sep and had a fab 2 weeks and WILL be rerurning after all your holiday is what you make it if you go with a negative attitude you will give us brits that moaning reputaion and won't enjoy!!!

Thanks Tanit once again

San Antonio Bay is very nice beach very clean promenade was cleaned several times per day.Lots of music bars and clubs which suit the younger holiday makers. My husband and I are in our sixties but enjoyed our 2 week stay. The only reason we probably wont go back is because we like to try other resorts as we have only been holidaying abroad for the past 10years and theres lots more we would like to see before we are too old.
