What can I say about Alcudia? It was a nice resort but as it was advertised as a family resort I thought it would cater for my 3 teens. I found there was not a lot to do for adults/teens (apart from eat and drink) and it was full of screaming/squawking kids lol.

alcudia is a lovely looking resort it is kept spotlessly clean there are loads of bars shops etc.and its very easy to get about.the beach is lovely but could be doing with some bars etc. on it to take advantage of how nice it is.

Alcudia seems to get bigger every year! Very few street traders, were told the council had clamped down on them, so not so much badgering. All establishments were as usual very clean, most of the rubbish I would say came from tourists.Music in the bars was too loud for us but obviously appealed to a lot.Lovely beach, nice new beach bar.We were there the day they started serving food. Good value. There are still no toilets there.

The beaches were always clean and there were litter pickers patrolling and there were always lifeguards manning the beach. Lovely resort, i will return to alcudia again.

We didn't really like Port Alcudia as it was far too commercialized and a tad sleazy in parts.

Great resort for families, plenty for singles and couples too - something for everyone. The beach is lovely, clean and fine sand that makes great castles and sculptures, slide boats for hire, plenty sun beds to hire and lots of reasonably priced snacks and meals if you take the time to shop around. Try the hot dog sellers by the beach for lunch and the crepe shop by the bridge of an evening. The Spars and local supermarkets are everywhere and all expensive - seek out an EROSKI supermarket they have everthing at good prices and are well worth a short taxi ride to stock up if your self catering or even just for crisps, sweets and juice for the kids (we found one up near the Jupiter, opposite side to the waterpark and another on the way to the port) Also the sunday Market at the fort is well worth a visit if you like the haggling and banter that goes on at these places ! This was our second visit to Alcudia, we came last year too and decided to return for another week this year. The town is kept clean with daily street sweeping and each shopkeeper seems to keep their own patch well enough - you can't train some tourist to use bins no matter how many you provide, but in general this is a pleasant town

This was our 3rd visit to Alcudia. The hotel was close to many amenities however many had closed due to the time of year. There were still plenty of good places to eat or drink very close by the Bellevue Appts and many shops too. The beach was a good walk away however for the able bodied this would not be a problem. For anyone like myself with walking difficulties it may be a bit too far from the beach area although there is a boat which operates from the hotel which takes you closer to the beach and this runs all day.

the resort and beach is absolutely fantastic for families the sea you can walk out for a mile and it still only at waste height.it is also very flat for walking as i am disabled and use a stick for walking this area brill as it very flat and the hotel was only a very short walk to beach and also bus stops were only round corner to take you anywhere ie;alcudia,palma,can picafort.
