i was supposed to go to santa clara but was changed to cristobel a week before we went. wasnt pleased as reviews said it was a german hotel. i was very pleased with hotel. very clean. great staff. two swimming pools. rooms cleaned most days. lovely bungalows. well kept gardens.there was germans there but found no probs with them. it was a german operating hotel so entertainment was german ,but the kids club tryed to involve any english kids.they were great really.would go there again.

Large clean bungalows in pleasant gardens.
Very close to Yumbo and not far from Kasbah.
Free bus service to the beach.
Very German orientated, but sometimes this lifts the accommodation to a higher standard, as it does here.
Would definitately go here again.

These bungalows are in a quite location with the nearest centres being the Gran Chapparel and the Yumbo. They are quite a distance from the beach but the hotel runs a free courtesy bus during the day.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow which was spacious with lots of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes. The bathroom is a bit small though. The kitchen comprises of a fridge and 2 ring hob so not suitable if you want to do any cooking. There isn't a kettle or toaster, but we boiled water in a saucepan and used the teapot.
The bungalows and the surrounding gardens, pools etc are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
There's a well run kids club but when we there it was mainly German people and the organisers spoke totally in German, although she could speak English.
There are no fans in the 2 bedroom bungalows but you can hire these from reception at an additional cost. There is a safe in the bedroom which is also an additional cost.
All in all, a great place to stay.

this hotel is in a near perfect location. We had 2 apartments near the perimiter of the complex, this could be a bit noisey late at night but this was from outside sources. The staff were always well presented, extemly helpfull and polite. The staff are wonderful with children, and putus all at ease. The childrens entertainer was excellent, and never to busy to take time to talk. Bar and resteraunt staff always had a smile and a cheerful greeting for us.Reception staff also deserve a mention here nothing was ever to much trouble for them. Even the cleaning staff were always cheerful.

Yes we had a great time here the cleanliness is spot on very clean indead.
We didnt eat at the hotel as there are such a lot of resturants very close by also very close to the yumbo centre where it is very gay of a nightime with drag shows and lots of bars although its gay it has a very family feel to it with lots of children joining in.
The staff at the hotel are so friendly and yolande who looks after the children was really great with them we made friends with her shes great and wish her well for the future.
Our only complaint is the tv plenty of channels if you speak german or dutch!! the poor brits only have 2 news channels which i found to be very poor indeed but yes we would love to go back again sometime first class hotel
like gran canaria is first class.

very pretty surrounding bungalows clean and well kept grounds well kept would reccomend these bungalows to anyone it has something for everyone.
