Accomodation was basic and could see that it was being upgraded in some areas but as yet hadn't reached the first block which we were staying in. Although this did not put us off as it was very clean and an ideal family holiday.
We ate several times in the Boulevard and found the Steak House very nice and very reasonable priced. Did rate the drinks in the Aguamarina (and we were paying for them) We could have upgraded to All Inclusive but min period that they offer is 3 days. Felt in height of summer hotel could become over crowded and with a small child like we had you may find it hard to keep an eye on them. The Aguamarina was like this in the evening and childern could easily be lost as outer doors were kept open and one led to main road.
Overall though I would revisit the Hotel, staff were helpful and they were dealing with the cockroach problem.

Los Locos is exactly what it says on the box. Three bedroom, family accommodation.

Found the hotel communal areas (corridors/pool) etc in need of a sweep but this was mainly due to wind etc. The Pool 2 toilets were however vile - this was not due to them being dirty but a drain issue. Found the Aguamarina room itself dangerous as there are boulders cemented into the ground which, in the dark, can be a bit of a hazzard to children as well as drunk people. The entertainment was very poor if I wasn't all inclusive I would have left)- however, the BBQ in the snackbar each Wednesday was very good (or it just seemed that way compared to what was on offer in the Aguamarina). I found that if you paid for drinks they were much better in quality and service (felt a second class customer if on allinclusive). Finally, waterpark is a deathtrap (avoid the ride with the rubber rings) and a bit of a rip-off - take drinks and crips with you. Overall, however I did enjoy my holiday and found the food very good.

We stayed at Los Zocos self-catering - three friends and five children in tow. We found the hotel is what it says 3 star. The rooms were basic, fairly clean, towels and bedding changed 5 times in the week, certainly didn't have any problems with any creepy crawlies at all!! We booked 4 weeks prior to departure and only paid

We had a throughly enjoyable time at the Los Zocos and have booked to go again in a few weeks. We were in block 3 which we requested after a few ill reports about blocks 1 and 2 but we spent our last day in the older blocks and they were fine anyway, although block 3 was lovely and would advise anyone to make a request to be placed there before you travel. Our apartment was kept very clean, maids were very accommodating and any problems were sorted.
The daytime activities were endless always something to do or some sort of competition going on for kids its just great with the football, mini-golf, creche, playgrounds, pools etc.
We stayed self catering but paid to eat the all inclusive buffets as the food was really nice and a wide variety for all taste the all inclusive restuarants are kept clean and food is constantly topped up and renewed. Because we have seen the food for all inclusive guests we have booked to go back all inclusive which we wouldnt normally do as worry about quality of food.
Entertainment was good and reps really friendly and enthusiatic in the entertainment team, first choice resort reps, however were not as friendly and quite unhelpful.
Los Zocos makes for a great and action packed holiday for all ages

Stayed in the old block of apartments and unfortunately had to be moved due to infestation of cockroaches. The 2nd room was not much better but not as much wildlife. Staff very friendly! Complex clean and tidy! But rooms in old block not up to much! Try to get new blocks as they are much better.

We had two apartments in the old block, 1 & 2 bedroom, apparently all the 2 bedroom apartments are on the ground floor. It was quite evident that the apartments were old and in need of some serious TLC. The carpets were shabby & looked dirty & most of the furniture needed replacing. We were greeted by cockroaches on our first night, so asked to be moved the next day. Our second apartment was located on the second floor of the same block & wasn't really much better, sadly the cockroaches returned & forced us to move a second time. We were moved to an apartment on the top floor of a newer block that we found much better, no cockroaches, newer furniture & tiled floors. The reception staff were friendly & keen to help us find some appropriate accommodation. The apartments are located near the beach with a good choice of restaurants & bars.

If you value your own sanity do not stay at these apartments - they are the worst I have ever seen.
First Apartment was dark, dingy, dirty, smelly, grotty, grimy - awful just awful.
Second apartment (block 3 - after a 4 night wait) better but still smelly.
Didn't eat here - it looked dreadful. Didn't even feel confident cooking here for hygiene reasons.
Entertainment - didn't bother with it - bar absolutely awful - any bit we did see all I can is "Butlins".
Reception staff rude - bar staff in need of some language tuition. Litter all over the place.
Kids Club - who do these girls think they are - activities were changed - "wet and wacky" became a BIRTHDAY PARTY for some kid my children didn't even know - "farewell bash" became an unsupervised "mini disco". Totally misrepresented by Falcon. The only thing my children happened to enjoy was the Soccer School but even the poor guys running it were having a hard time - they were told during the week that one would be moving to Costa del Sol on Friday and still didn't which one it was to be on the Wednesday.
This has been the worst holiday I have ever experienced and I felt so sorry for my 3, 5 and 7 year old children - this should have been their week! I have written to Falcon demanding a full explanation - no doubt there will be some fob off story.

On arrival we thought how clean everything was and overall were very pleased with the room, We had a kitchen with everything we needed to cater for our 1 year old at the time, The bedroom was spacious and met all requirements.
The food was fantastic, always hot and plenty of choice at the main restaurant, and for lunch the pool side snack bar was great for hot dogs, but we also visited the restaurant near the shop which had a more varied selection for lunch time.
The location was ideal for the beach about a five minute walk, and seemrd to be central for most trips.
Hotel staff were always friendly and always made time for the kids.
There was always poolside activities if you wanted them and kids club was fab, the animation team were really a credit to the hotel.
If I were to return to Lanzarote I would only consider staying at Los Zocos.

Just back from 2 weeks in Los Zocos,had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.Room was in new block,very clean and never saw a cockroach in hotel anywhere.Payed for All-Inclusive for 1 week and while food was ok,was glad to be self catering for more choice.(Tip- dont book all inclusive until at hotel as it is half the price of brochures) Staff were excellent and while entertainment ok the staff were very lively.Location of hotel ideal,plenty of bars and restuarants in strolling distance.
