All the positive comments are well deserved by this lovely hotel.

The only surprise was that there were lots af available sunbeds at all times of the day.

We have stayed at lots od 4 and 5* hotels and this was on par if not better than most...especially the staff, location and particularly the food which was in my experience, exceptional quality.

There is a cash machine in the hotel.

This was our third stay at the hotel and it was as good as ever. Everything about this hotel is superb, food (although a bit repetitive after a week), staff, maids etc are very friendly, even one member of the reception staff remembered my fiance from the previous year and even the conversation they had, so a nice personal touch too.

It was my birthday while we were there and I was surprised to find a bottle of champagne waiting in our room for when we returned.

Although we were half board we went out for a light lunch some days, we found a lovely cafe across the road, its called Plaza Boulevard Cafe, if you stand with your back to the hotel, turn left over the zebra crossing and past some shops, turn right at the end and its in the little shopping centre, next to spar, a lovely spotless clean cafe with friendly staff, another place we found was a chinese called Royal Family which is just past the Plaza Boulevard both worth trying.

We love the hotel and area so much we are going back next year for our fourth year. The only downside is the entertainment, not very good at all I'm afraid apart from the Beatles which were excellent.

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions the 1st time we stayed for 4 weeks. The other times unfortunately we only stayed for 2 weeks.

On the next occasions we will definately be staying for 4 weeks, because we were so happy with this hotel and all it has to offer, comfort, cleanliness, good food, brilliant staff, good bars, lovely views, peace and quiet and great entertainment, especially Bitter and Twisted.

We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return after we settle into our new home.

Just back from this hotel having stayed previously when first opened in 2000. It is still a very good hotel, service from reception is extremely efficient.

Food was excellent but as already mentioned in some reviews, is a bit repetitive.

Soom rooms face the main road so we paid for a pool view. However, some pool view rooms have pillars or trees to obscure the view. We were in the separate building next to the main pool and were on the first floor - unobstructed pool view and a bigger balcony, twice the size of most.
The best rooms are from 2006 to 2009 for uninterrupted pool view but are directly opposite the Honolulu bar where the evening entertainment takes place.
We were not, however, bothered by the noise as it tends to end at midnight.

On the subject of entertainment, the daytime activities were great but the evening shows were dreadful, except for the Beatles tribute band.

We decided to get a taxi back to the airport - asked reception and a taxi arrived within 2 minutes! Only cost 23 euros. Much better than a coach and good value as airport only 15 - 20 mins away.

Just arrived back 12-5-2006 from the Bahia Princess in Playa De Las Americas, our rooms were clean, they consisted of a twin bedded bedroom, mirrored sliding wardrobe with a safe inside, 15 euros for the week.

Two bedside drawer units table and tv,the standard of these furnishings we thought were very good with a multi coloured headboard.Next to the bedroom was a entrance lobby room with a table, chairs and large storage sideboard, this room was also nicely furnished, this then led into a fully tiled bathroom.

One oddity though was that the design in the bathroom on the far end of the bath was the shower on the wall with a thick glass screen running halfway towards you on the top of the bath. This resulted in you having to stand in the bath to put the plug in then get out while you turned the taps on then put hot and cold to required temperature because the bath taps were halfway down the side of the bath on the back wall and if you turned the tap on wilst you were in the bath you would get really hot water splashing on you as you try to regulate hot and cold.

This was my only room fault.

I thought the food in the dining room was excellent my wife thought very good, buffet style breakfast and evening meal, well presented and plenty of choice something for everyone, also chefs were on hand for fresh omelettes in the morning and steaks, lamb, pork cooked as you like it allong with roast beef in the evening. Then you fill your plate up with your choice of veg, potatoes, salad, etc such a huge choice I only had the chips with my meal once. For sweet I counted 28 different dishes from several cakes, rice pudding, peaches, pinapples, pears three flavors of ice cream, jellies ,loads of types of nuts, then there is the cheeses and biscuits. ps prior to the above there is always two soups or salads for starters.

Everyone who goes to this hotel mentions the steps that lead down from the reception bar area down past the swimming pool to the dining room, we counted 52 down and 52 back obviously, unless you have walking difficulties you will manage these and with the swimming pool at the bottom you feel they and the hotel architecture look quite spectacular from a visual point of view. There is also a lift.

The Bahia is situated behind the Guayamina Princess
which we have also stayed in.[we now think the Bahia has the edge although they are both very good].

The Costa Adeje is the area of these two hotels,we prefer here to around Veronica centre or Los Cristianas,if you walk 100 metres down the side of the hotel down the hill to the seafront and turn right you can walk two or three miles and it is now stunning the area that has been developed with absolutely beutifully located hotels, apartments and restuarants, coffee shop and a few select bars .A pleasant daytime walk, but relaxing at night also.

If you like more lively areas when you get to the front from the hotel turn left and walk, every type of bar ,steak house, indian, chinese, irish, english food you could imagine, some of it big, noisy, brash, not everyones cup of tea as they say but something for everyone, eventually this will lead you into downtown Las Americas, not our favourite area though we prefer around the Bahia.

Entertainment was ok but certainly not special.

Abba fever was ok for us but we remember the real thing!jugglers were yes! good jugglers if that does it for you.acrobats and dance troupes all worked hard in the act but i still didnt feel any of it was special. We even had a parrot show with some amazing tasks carried out by these beautiful animals.

ALL IN ALL OUR HOLIDAY WAS GREAT!We will definately be back to this hotel.

We spent 7 very pleasant days at this hotel CostaAdeje is very built-up and the hotel is overlooked.

The main food options were generally excellent (goodchoice and hot) but at times the buffet foods were not kept hot enough. The staff were always pleasant & helpful.

Rooms are of a reasonable size with good furnishings. Getting a good view/reasonable sized balcony is a bit of a lottery as there are many room options that are less than ideal. Go for a high floor is you are able to.

Entertainment is typical for a Spanish hotel - some good - some poor. However, if you like dancing (ballroom), then the live bands were good and the Germans will always get up and dance. Getting a seat was never a problem. Drinks are obviously more expensive than the local bars.

Guests should note that the hotel forbids the use of electrical equipment (kettles etc) in bedrooms and the consumption of food/drink bought outside the hotel - just hide the evidence and they will never know.

We would certainly consider returning to this hotel.

This hotel was fantastic! Very very clean and I am a fusspot!

All the staff were fab. On arrival, we checked in the day before my partner's birthday, they wished him a happy birthday for the following day.

The entertainment was very good, especially bitter & twisted, the funniest drag act I have ever seen, in fact the funniest show I have ever seen!

The food was really nice, only downfall was that with the hot free buffet included in the half board, you had to buy your water. The food was always a good choice. and breakfast was nice too. When we had been out for the day on my partner's birthday, we came back to a bottle of Cava and 2 glasses complimentary from the manager for his birthday which I thought was a wonderful touch.

The location was good, one side a sea view, the other of mount Tede. A 5 min walk to the beach. Just be careful of time share operators trying to con you with scratch cards, they waste your time and are not very nice people.

The bathroom was spotless, as were the sheets. the whole thing was fantastic.

The lower pool was nice, and heated. There are near on 100 steps to climb to breakfast/dinner or the pool or the entertainment although there is a lift. I felt like I was really fit by the time I got back!

All in all, We will be going back and December is a perfect time to go, and whilst over there, my partner popped the question and we got engaged!

Stopped in Bahia Princess for a week in July 2005, thought the location was good, paid for an inland room view but got a good room overlooking the pool, room was comfortable and very clean.

Food was good, fresh and always plenty of choice, waiters were very attentive.

There are 3 pools, you need to get up early to secure a sunbed near the pool but this didn't bother us. All staff at the hotel were excellent.

Lots of steps in the hotel and the grounds. Good location, approx 250m downhill to the seafront.

Would definitely use this hotel again on my next visit to Tenerife.

First time to this hotel but would go back again.

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with all facilities. Food was excellent plenty of choice ( never seen as many people have chips for breakfast) but for the more health concious lots of variety of fresh fruit. Chefs would cook for you omlettes, pancakes etc. and in the evening freshly cooked steak, pork and salmon before your eyes. Anyone who could not find something they liked were extremely hard to please.

Waiters were very attentive and nothing too much trouble.

The hotel location is very good within easy access for beach and shops, buses etc and within pleaseant walking distance of other areas.

All the staff should be commended as they were all very pleasant and acknowledged you all the time. Good security guard and the whole place felt safe.

My only criticism is the price of drinks in the bars and could well be the reason that there were never many people staying in for the entertainment as it was expensive - 12 euros for 2 bacardi & coke! There are lots of bars around with excellent entertainment and drinks more reasonable. We saw Elvis, Buddy Holly, Neil Diamond, Barry White, Billy Idol, Chubby Brown ( not for the kids) and many more all excellent entertainment washed down with the odd glass of champagne sangria!

It was very peaceful in the hotel and sunbeds were a plenty(and umbrellas) no need to put towels out unless you wanted a particular spot. I cannot fault this hotel the maids were discreet and cleaned every day bringing fresh towels and even folding the bedclothes in a fancy fan and the toilet paper to a point - those little touches that make it a quality hotel.

Beware of using elec appliances you get a warning letter from management if caught so be warned.

A good Hotel with a lot going for it. Food was of good quality although the choice was poor with some dishes repeated 3 times in 7 days. Hotel was clean and well presented and all the staff were very good.
We did have a problem with the water in the room which took too long to sort out with brown sludge coming from the taps but it was sorted in the end.

I would say in a single sentence, a good hotel which you will enjoy staying in but I think Thomson giving it a 5* rating is pushing it a little (official 4*)as its good but not 10/10.
