The hotel is located close to the beach and main part of the resort. When we arrived there was no lighting in our corridor and as it was after midnight we had difficulty finding our room in the dark. We complained but nobody seemed to care. The room was very clean.

The room was tiny with a very small balcony which was above the kitchens. There was building work going on below us and between that and the noise from lorries making deliveries every morning from 5am onwards we were often disturbed.

The food was absolutely awful. The restaurant was crowded and filthy and staff were disinterested. The food was slops and often was cold. Breakfast was okay but dinner was the worst and we ate out all the time. The bar area was nice and the entertainment (not our taste) was good for the average holidaymaker. There are a number of good bars and restaurants in the area so we tended to eat out and then visit a few bars. We wanted to stay out of our tiny room as much as possible!

The pool area is nice but very crowded. It was impossible to get a sunbed.

We had a fantastic holiday despite the hotel and that was mainly down to the excellent location of the hotel and the friendly people staying in the hotel while we were there. Friends went back in December and stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and we would advise that.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but we still had one of out best holidays ever.

Hotel was very much dated from the outside, could have done with a bit of sprucing up.

Food was absolutely diabolical, swimming in grease, and there were people vomiting in the middle of the night and when the management were told of this; nothing was done.

It was a rat race to get a sunlounger at times it was like a stampede, parents were letting their children run wild on the stairs and in the lifts that is why they were always broken down.

The pool area was cleaned first thing in the morning as our room overlooked the pool the entertainment was out of the ark.

I would never stay in another Sol hotel again and i would strongly reccomend anybody not to stay there we could not wait to get home as this hotel nearly ruined our holiday.

While the hotel is clean, there is an obvious lack of staff.

The stampede for sun beds is something to behold.

Lack of air conditioning needs immediate attention, you can hire fans at 40eu for 6 days food not spectacular but just about edible.
And why do they think we brits like chips at breakfast ugh!

The location is about the best feature of this hotel all in all it didnt spoil our hols. But wouldn't use again, its lost something since trypp handed it over.

When we arrived at the airport in Tenerife we could not locate a travel Rep from our tour operator to guide us to our bus and spent 30 minutes frantically searching and asking other reps for help but nobody could assist so we decided we would take a taxi to our hotel in the hope that we would find we had been booked in there.

When we arrived it was very busy and the staff were helpful and we were allocated a room on the 7th floor with a great view however the balcony was not clean and had pigeon poo on the ledges.

We asked the staff about speaking to our holiday rep and were given a number to call and were then told by our holiday operator that they do not have reps in Tenerife and to complain when we returned home in writing.

The hotel itself is showing signs of age and in need of some re-decorating. The Food is a hot and cold buffet served for both breakfast and dinner and we never found a meal we enjoyed and eat out almost every night. The breakfast included chips!! and the bacon, eggs and sausages were swimming in oil. We found the dining room unclean and looking for a table was a nightmare.

The queue/race for the pool was a sight to behold, people running to get sunloungers leaving their towels and not returning until midday or later. The pool area was clean and in general the room was cleaned well every second day.

We would not return to this hotel, as we found it not worthwhile to pay for half board and not eat the meals they provided,

The best part of our stay in the hotel was the Entertainment Team; they had events going on from 11am until 2am! They worked very hard and we enjoyed their shows, which were a mixture of amateur and professional acts.

On returning home we did not chance the coach turning up for us so booked a taxi.

I would never visit this hotel again. Forget the fact that it looks like a block of grey council flats, but our room was overrun with cockroaches. There were baby ones coming out of the air vent in the bathroom and larger ones scuttling in from either the hotel or the balcony.

When we complained (which we did to the rep and staff), we were given a can of Raid to tackle the problem with.
This meant shutting the doors each night (which made the room incredibly hot) and spraying lethal doses of Raid into the room (which probably did more damage to our lungs than the cockroaches).

OK - so we could have stayed outside by the pool all day - or could we?? It was impossible to get a sunlounger after 7am, and everyone left towels on the sunloungers and went off for the day. I ended up having to make a makeshift sunbed out of chairs at the bar, which were usually covered in food which people had left, and which were being eaten by the resident cats once they had dragged it onto the floor. And they wonder why they had cockroaches!

We ate at the restaurant once, but after their lack of interest in dealing with the cockroach problem, we decided this attitude probably extended to the kitchen area, and this made us lose our appetite. Besides there were some really nice places to eat locally which were a lot cheaper than paying half board at the hotel.

Needless to say we didn't stay at the hotel at night for their entertainment.

I had a daily battle trying to convince my husband not to catch the next flight out of Tenerife, as it was the first holiday I had gone on in three years.

Having read some of the earlier reports on this site, I was a little dubious as to what to expect.

The hotel does show signs of age, but is generally clean.

The food was of excellent quality (chips are a little better), although their is a distinct lack of choice for children.

The staff are very friendly and always ready to help.

The Hotels Entertainment Team (E.T.) were excellent. They provided various activities throught the day for both adults and children, including darts, archery, pistol & rifle shooting, french boulle and more. The evening entertainment is a mix of proffesional shows and the E.T.

Altough the E.T are amateurs, their shows are very well done and the games and quizzes are usually hillarious.

This was our fourth visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed.
The rooms are clean and suffient for what you need on holiday the chambermaids do a good job considering the amount of guests staying at the hotel during our stay.
the Restaurant is spacious and very clean, the food is good with a vast variety to suit all tastes, there is always something to suit everyone.
The pool area is clean with plenty of sunbeds, the pool bar serves Hot&Cold Drinks and Snacks during the day.
The Entertainment Team do an excellent job, they try to get everybody involved, in the games in and out of the pool.
The staff are very friendly and will bend over backwards to help you if any problems arise during your stay.

As a regular visitor to Tenerife i was slightley concerned over the reveiws of the hotel i read on this forum before traveling.
Ariving at the Hotel we we greated with a basic 3* hotel although the facilitys we of a good standard and the hotel spotless we had no complaints. the hotel staff we extreamley hard working and would do what ever was asked of them to help.
Entertainment was of a high standard and Arianna worked extreamley hard to help her staff achive there potential!

I would not hesitate re-visiting this hotel and am traveling there in Auguest of this year.

A hotel I have also recomended to Family, Friends and Clients

Regards

Katherine
