On first arriving at the Noelia Sur we thought we had picked a good hotel, as the location and cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted.
On the first evening we had a problem booking in for dinner as we were such a big party, but to be fair to the staff they did sort this out.
Breakfast time in the restaurant was utter chaos, on one occasion six adults and two children had to sit at a table set for three, (with no additional cups, cutlery etc.).
On our second evening in the restaurant, the air conditioning was turned down/off and it made it unbearable to sit and eat. We only tried once more for evening dinner after this and it was the same, so we didn't bother with dinner again.
We tried for breakfast a couple more times, but were unable to get seats and if we managed to get seats we couldn't get cups and cutlery etc. So what should have been a half board holiday, turned out to be an eat out holiday, which made the holiday almost twice as expensive as it should have been.
The air conditining in the rooms didn't work, or should I say didn't cool the air, but it did make a terrible noise all the time it was on. Sleeping was not easy because of this.
Sunbeds were not supposed to be reserved, this happened every morning with at least 80% being reserved and no one on them for the best part of the day. This made it difficult to even lie around the hotel never mind round the pool.
We asked to keep one of our rooms on our last day (at an extra cost) because both the children in our party were ill. We were told we couldn't do this but could check out a couple of hours later than normal. We all received calls from reception saying that we had to vacate our rooms immediately (it didn't matter that we had prearranged to keep them.)
So all in all no we won't be going back to the Noelia Sur, but we did have a great time in Tenerife.

This was our 2nd visit to the Noelia and we were as impressed this time as we were before.
The maids were hard working and friendly. There work was to a high standard. There are kitchen inspections arranged for guests on a Thursday and that speaks for itself as not too many hotels offer this opportunity.
The food in itself was good however the "sittings" system did cause very busy periods (7-8pm being worst)
The hotel staff were helpful and we found them to be good fun on the occasions I tried to speak Spanish!
The entertainment was much as you would expect on a package type holiday and was ok

we stayed in the Noelia Sur 4STAR
hotel,staff very good in fact it was up to a 4 star standard however the only down side for us we had cockroaches on a couple of occasions i could deal with it but my wife was petrified of them and i think for this reason my wife would not go back to this hotel
the hotel location is good and handy for everything you would need shops,cafes,supermarkets all within 50 metres
this is the the only year in10 that we have not used thomsons princess hotels, remove the cockroaches and this hotel is a good alternative .
i also noted that the hotel catered very well for people with dissablement special rooms ect .
110 / 100 goes to the staff who were first class.

I have stayed at the Conquistador, and Tenerife Princess in the past. The Noelia sur is not as grand as either in terms of reception areas or lounges, but it is every bit as good in other areas. The rooms are good and maid service is excellent, clean towels every day without fail.
Food was very good too. If kids didnt fancy what was on offer, they would make something on request!
Not enough sunbeds was a concern, and on the good side, nobody was allowed to put towels out before 9 am as the pool was cordoned off every morning.
All in all great value for money and we would return.

the noelia sur is a very clean freindly hotel in a good location near plenty of shops and restuarants.the selection of food was exellent with plenty of choice most dishes were cooked on a grill hotplate in front of you. rooms were cleaned every day with new towels without fail and staff were very freindly an helpful.the evening entertainment for kids was great but the later shows were a bit poor. i would probably visit this hotel again in the near future and would reccommend it to anyone planning a visit to tenerife.

We found this hotel to be excellent in all respects, staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Cleanliness of all public areas and rooms 110/100. Good variety of food and very witty chefs. Good daily sports entertainment for everyone. Only complaint out of two pool tables only one was working for the entire 2 weeks of our stay. Would certainly visit this hotel again.

We stayed in the Hotel for 2 weeks an really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were really nice and very clean. We liked all 3 pools but preferred the roof pools as they were more private. The food was excellent and had a huge selection. This was our first holiday without parents, one member of our party was ill one night and the staff did everything they could to make her feel comfortable. We would definately stay in the Noelia again.

Noelia Sur is a lovely hotel, everything shone like a new pin. The food was as good as any four star in fact better than a few I could mention.
It stand right on the border of Los Cristianos and las Americas so very easy to get to both. Some great shops around.
Staff ever so friendly and really helpful.
Didn't stay in for entertainment but it looked well frequented.
Will definitely be visiting this hotel again

This hotel has such mixed reviews on this and other websites, that I was a bit concerned. However, the hotel was fantastic, the rooms were clean and smart, as were the reception area and restaurant. The food was good, massive choice of both english food and food from other countries.
The pool area is very nice, with plenty of sun loungers available, even when we didn't get to the pool until later in the day.
The location of this hotel is good as it is within easy walking distance of the bars/clubs and other entertainment, but far enough away as to not be disturbed by noise.
The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel bar looked vey nice, although we did not use it.
