Hi there we all just got back from costa Brava yesterday the 17.9.03 , we were there for just 1 week we wish we had booked for 2 weeks now , it was a great holiday, the apart hotel was terrific , ma kids had a ball there, the place was spotless clean, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful , the entertainment for ma kids was absolutely fantastic , ma kids didn't want to come home. , thanks to Tracy,Lucy,Sheikha and Stuart(entertainers).The beach wasn't to far away but it was a shingle beach and that was the only down part of our holiday , next time we go back we will travel a bit further out for the other beach that is there, i heared its not a shingle beach...The food in the hotel was great, i have fussy kids and i was worrying about what they would eat when we got there but i couldn't stop them from eating . There are plenty of shops around and a super market just at the bottom of our hotel(costa encantada)..... Our reps were fantastic and very friendly and where there in the hotel a few times a day for us if we needed anything,the hotel pool is massive and very clean, i couldn't keep ma kids out of it even when we had 3 days of rain , im online now and looking for to book up for costa encantada again but we want to go in the summer next year, when the weather is a bit better..

At the costa encantada, me and me family had a brilliant time there, we stayed there for 2 weeks and we all wished to stay there till the end of the season.
The board basis which we went on was Self Catering and there was plenty to eat. They had 2 very clean restuarants and a mini market on the complex, also they had two arcades what the childeren loved and they was always in there.
The rooms in the hotel were very clean and they got cleaned everyday of the week, also the poolside got cleaned every morning and night.(the pool opens at 9 and closes at 7 so they can clean around the pool)
The location was execelent because the hotel was surrounded by shops, the water park, beach, night life, and restuarants. The reception staff,bar staff, and the life gaurds were very friendly, the reps and entertainers were also very friendly and we say thanxs to sue,rich,laura,garry,phil,mel,matt,celia,spike,keith, paul(smooth),mike,kelly,juicy lucy, racey tracy,jolly man marc,stuart,sheikha for giving us the best holiday.
we have booked to go back 21st august 2004 too and we recommend any other families to try this experience in the future. There was plenty to do and me kids have kept in touch wit sue,rich,laura,mike,kelly,juicy lucy,sheikha, and racey tracy.

We went for 1 week self catering holiday. There was 9 adults and 2 children. The rooms were spacious and clean, the maid service was satisfactory, we had a balcony which overlooked the pool and the town.
On the first night we heard lots of ambulances and wondered what we let ourselves in for, but it turns out the hospital was only down the road!!
There were plenty of sunloungers if you got up at 7 in the morning to put your towels om them! The pool was gorgeous and very clean and just deep enough! The chips from the pool bar were so yummy!!
There is all the facilities needed on site such as pub resteraunt and a shop. The staff and reps were very friendly and helpful and the evening entertainment was brilliant. The reps were so entertaining and involved everyone, Memories of the Cartoon Heros come flooding back!!
All in all it was a brilliant place and I can't wait to next summer and the one after that to get back to such a great place!!
The only thing that got me was that hill up to the complex, it was a little steep!

Hey all
I went to the hotel last year and it was BRILLIANT!! This year (2004) i am going again, and i can't wait! I loved it there!! The entirtainment was great, the Reps where so kind! I had a great time!
If anyone has not been there, you should book now and get away to it! You will love it!!

we went for 2 weeks and came bk last week it was great. The room was lovely and clean and the food was gorgeous. We loved the entertainment at night time they were great . I liked the 70's night the best. Stuart and Sheika are wicked at gymnastics and lucy is fab at singing. There hard work didn't go to waste. The view from our window was good we were overlooking the swimming pool and the swimming pool was lovely it was nice and big. They also have a little baby pool which is nice to. The weather wasn't to bad , the only downfall was the beach because it was shingle but apart from that it was great. The night life was good too. I stayed in these apartments in August 2002 and although the weather wasn't to good the complex was fine. There was a lot of Irish people who seem to stay in this hotel but they are very friendly and became godd friends with a lot of them. The cleaners make sure that your room is perfect to sleep in and that every thing is clean. The food was OK but the down stairs restuarant staff were very slow, but friendly. The reps were very helpful and the staff behinde the bars were nice but for the rest of the staff well I didn't see any of them. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel but there are shops that you can look in while you are walking to the beach. I would stay there again.

well were do i start. wat a cracker hol me and 3 of my mates had, stayed at the costa encantada and havent a bad word 2 say (except the waitress in restaurant ) he he!! the pool was fantastic, but even better was the pool side bar ...very handy!! as my first hol away from parents (17 at the time )i had a ball. there was a good selection of things in the apts mini mart and the 2 amusements keep u busy!it was also very clean and ur rooms were cleaned every day, cudnt do better then that! well if ur goin 4 the nite life i wud definatly recommend it!! texas,rockerfellas and bravehearts were fab,and if like us irish girls like u like a drink ... very cheap!!but hi 2 chris and the lads in rabbies Scottish bar best nite crack i had in the whole 2 weeks. so last but not least go 2 lloret de mar and enjoy!!! I certainly did!!!!

I TRAVELLED HERE IN JUNE 2002 WITH MY CRAZY CHEESY FRIENDS (THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE)AND IT WAS FANTASTIC. THE HOTEL WAS LOCATED IN AN EXCELLANT PART OF LLORET. THE HOTEL IS GREAT FOR KIDS AND HAS PLENTY FOR THEM TO DO. THE POOL IS VERY SPACIOUS AND THE STAFF AT THE POOLSIDE BAR WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THE HOTELS DOWNFALL WERE CHEEKY FEMALE RECEPTION STAFF BUT APART FROM THAT I WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE.IT IS NEAR ALL BARS AND DANCINGS WHICH ARE ALSO GREAT. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR CHEAP DRINK AND ALOT OF FUN AND LAUGHS GO TO LLORETS BEST PUB IN THE RESORT "BRAVEHEARTS SCOTTISH PUB" YEAHHHHHHHHHH THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY, FUNNY AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST CHEESY. THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE INTO CHEESE SHOULD DEFINATELY GO TO "TEXAS" AND "ROCKERFELLAS" AND ALSO TRY THE "SPORTSMAN". WELL THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT LLORET BUT ANY OF YOU OUT THERE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXCELLENT HOLIDAY CHOOSE "LLORET DE MAR"!

I TRAVELLED HERE IN JUNE 2002 AND LOVED THE PLACE IM LOOKING FORWARD TO GO BACK IN JULY NEXT YEAR POOL WAS GREAT THE ONLY STAFF WHO WHERE HALF HELPFUL WHERE THE ONES WORKING IN THE POOLSIDE BAR. MY SECOND YAER IN LLORET AND NOT MY LAST LOTS OF GREAT BRITISH BARS NEARBY ESPECIALLY POPEYES, ROBIN HOODS AND ABOUT A FIVE MINUTE WALK AWAY YOULL FIND BRAVEHEARTS SCOTTISH PUB 1 OF THREE IN LLORET AND THE BEST CHEAP AND CHEERFUL CANT WAIT TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR..

costa encantada is a well situated hotel as the main town is only a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel staff were very helpful and frienly, and the hotel was excellent for cleanliness, however there wasn't much to do for teenagers at night on the complex unless they went to the one of the two arcades. For children under 10 it was excellent the reps kept them well entertained and for people interested tin bing there was cash bingo every night. the weather could have been better so if i was to go again i would probably go in july.
