I think people are confusing this hotel (TP apartments) with TP aparthotel (they sound very similar in the descriptions, so I have put my review in both places).
People who are complaining about this hotel certainly need to read the brochure. The rooms are basic, but the cooking facilities are adequate and a kettle and toaster are provided.
You have to make up the bed's yourself and the sheets only get changed once a week and the towels a couple of times, nor do the maid's clean your room, but a bucket/mop/sweeping brush is provided.
The balcony size is more than adequate.
The pool is cleaned every day and is a good size, although a little deep at the "shallow" end for little ones.
I don't have children, but the children's entertainer during the day seemed great.
There are plenty of sunbeds available (free), although you aren't supposed to drink your own drinks beside the pool, but we ignored this as the drinks were a little expensive.
There is a very good supermarket next door, so you can stock up on all your essentials.
The evening entertainment in the hotel wasn't to our taste, but we're not people who stay in hotel bars anyway when there are plenty of great restaurants and tapas bars around to go in instead.
The evening entertaiment seemed to be the usual kareoke/games/talent contests, but we never went so we don't know what they were like.
Overall, value for money, this hotel was 10 out of 10. We paid less than

We arrived @ 11.30am and were told to come back in 1 hour as our room wasn't ready. When we went back we were a little disappointed as it wasn't very clean and there was broken glass on the balcony and a broken electrical socket which we told reception about but nothing was done.
The dinning chairs were very sticky and there were toe nail clippings in one of the drawers. The towels were changed twice in 1 week but the bed wasn't and nor was the room cleaned. We had to pay a deposit of 80 euros for the time we were there which I think is quite a lot. The balcony was in a prime position as the sun was there right up to sunset.
The area the hotel is in is a little drab compared with the beautiful old town.

We arrived at he hotel in the middle of the night and then had to make the beds up ourselves. Although the apartment were clean and all the cooking facilities were provided, the linen was not changed once in the week that we stayed and only hand towels are provided.
The pool area is very nice and had the sun for at least 8 hours of the day and the children loved it although the shallow end of the pool is still one metre deep.
The hotel location is approx 10 pleasant minute walk to the beach (which is made up of fine grit (not sand) and would advise anyone to buy suitable shoes that can be worn in the water also), supermarket just round the corner and plenty of cafe/bar restaurants and shops within 5 minutes.
Hotel entertainement was almost non existent unless you like bingo. There was a disco on twice a week which ran until 12:15am. Daytime entertainment is non existant.

We stayed here in 2003,(couple with teenage son) the form only gives as far back as 2004. Must rate as one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. At that time, there was no toaster, and no kettle. Water For tea was boiled in a pot. The room was clean, but shabby. Mop and bucket stored in were stored in the bath. Water from rain, came through sliding windows to extremely small balcony. This hotel was more like a hostel, and could do with major renovation. We won't be back.

Fantastic. This hotel we loved it.
Everything was great. Omar was the entertainer then and was brilliant.
Just everything was great , going back this year and cant wait,dont listen to these reviews that say it was bad, I cant wait to go back !

Well what can we say, fantastic the food was excellent.
The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly stayed at anouther resort 6/05 but going back to Tossa Park 10/05 for a week and cant wait.
We will be going back every year Tossa de Mar is where we want to live, so relaxing also brilliant night life.

We stayed here for our our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. The location is ideal for those looking for a relaxing holiday with lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The staff were very friendly, the pool clean and the apartment was adequate but a kettle would have made things easier!
Entertainment was non existent apart from one brilliant flamenco night. No daytime activities for the children, but the hotel is aware of this and will try to make amends.

We had read a few bad reports on this hotel after we had booked but I have to say that we found it to be very nice.
We had a studio apartment which was nice and very clean. The balcony had a nice view over the pool. The pool itself was very clean and has a place for children to play in.
The staff were friendly and polite but the entertainment left a little to be desired, unless you like bingo and flamenco dancing that is.
Tossa de Mar is a wonderful place and we hope to return one day.

The hotel was rather dirty.
We seemed to play bingo every night, the entertainer was good with kids if you had any.
Don't go there if you want a relaxing holiday, the kids run around wild.
