I've been to the manuela 3 years in a row, and I will definately be going back.
Ok the breakfast included wasnt great and the rooms were a bit basic, but the manuela is right on the beach and you only have to walk 2 minutes to get to the centre of Bitez.
The atmosphere there is unreal, so friendly and relaxing and you can never have a boring night as the all the crew are highly entertaining.
The manuela is a place you get attached to and from the day you leave you cant wait to go back.

This Hotel, while typically turkish and very basic is exceptionally clean, staff very inobtrusive and very jenuinely friendly.
The balconies are of the Juliet style, therefore only suitable for hanging washing, however this does not spoil the holiday at all.
The views when in the resturant, overlooking the bay are spectacular, and the food so good we rarely eat elsewhere. After 6 years often twice a year, we still love it, and now feel honoured that so many of the staff, past and present are in constant contact with us, our extended family is how we think of each other.
The entertainment has followed the same style for many years, but it seems to work, although I agree that when there is Football on TV that takes over somewhat, but the Turks are football mad!!
We have never had any reason to complain, yet the owner is always asking us if our room is OK, if we need anything etc.
We cannot think of staying anywhere else, yet we have an appartment in a nearby town.

I'm really surprised at the negative reviews of the Manuela Hotel. We moved there mid week after being very disappointed with our original accommodation.
The location of the hotel, cleanliness of the rooms and the staff are all fantastic.
The food in the restaurant is good but I wouldn't say it was the best in Bitez.
There is a small pool, which looked very clean and was used by others but as we're beach people we didn't use it ourselves.
The rooms are on the smallish size but have everything you could want, tv, air con, kettle, fridge and really comfy beds.
We had one early night when we were there and the music at the bar was turned down by midnight so we weren't disturbed by it as others have said they were.
We had one of our best holidays ever at the Manuela and hope to return next year,

The Manuela Hotel was in the best location in Bitez. I couldn't fault the cleaniness. But it was the whole aura of the place.
The boys were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help you and they made it look as if they were having a great time to it was infectious.
That was my 3rd visit and hopefully I will be back in Sept. I would not go anywhere else.

We have just returned from a DIY Hols to this Hotel.
On arrival we were met by one of the Hotel Staff it was 3am Turkish time, and the 1st thing he did was offer us a free soft drink or Efes Beer, from cooler bag, gratefully received.
On arrival at the Hotel my 1st thought was how basic the rooms were, but the next Morning the Location more than made up for this, it was lovely to roll out of bed and onto the beach in front of the Hotel, the Staff could not do enough to welcome you, and there was no charge for sunbeds.
The rooms are typical Turkish basic but very very clean, with a TV, shower(constant hot water) fridge and also a kettle and cups, balconys are small so you cannot sit out at Night to enjoy a 'Nightcap' but that did not spoil our Hol's.
Maid service is excellent I have never stayed anywhere so particular.
Beds were comfy and I cannot fault any of the Staff, they are friendly and do everything to make your stay, along with the Owner Oktay who is concerned that you are happy with the rooms etc, if I could fault this Hotel at all it would be that on the Saturday and Sunday the usual music at the Bar, gave way to Sport I felt as if I was at home with the larger screen TV showing Footi from early Evening until late at night on the Saturday the Bar lost it's atmosphere, which was a shame we retired early as did our Family (one who is Footi mad)so whereas we would have all sat at the Bar 5 of us went to our room early, the rest of the Nights however were really great with the Staff joining in on the Turkish Night etc, we will definitely return to this Hotel and at a

Having read the other reviews on this hotel it feels as though we stayed at another hotel! The room we stayed in was very basic and outdated, and not particularly clean. The balcony was only big enough for one person to sit on with no extra room at all. The only good thing was the maid service, who cleaned every day and gave us clean towels and sheets most days.
We were kept awake by very loud music from the hotel bar until 3-4 am every night. Subsequently we have come back from holiday with very little sleep, and feel in need of another holiday!!!
We found the staff to be unfriendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and were asked to vacate our table before we had finished our meal, as they had people waiting!!
We would not definitely not recommend this hotel is you are in need to relaxation and sleep!!!

Staff at first were very friendly, our reason for going bed and breakfast is so for the rest of the day we can please ourselves where and when we eat, usually each evening meal is at a different location, well this does not please the staff at this hotel one bit. If you are a regular at their restaurant,at their bar,at their part of the beach,therefore buying all your food and drink throughout the day,they will fuss and coo over you all day long,but go anywhere else and they dont want to know.
On our first day,we went and got sunbeds on their part of the beach only to have dogs coming and laying alongside of us. There is 1 tiny pool,which at first only had 3 sunbeds by it, but the area around it is that small you would be lucky to get half a dozen there.
The other pool was covered over.
In the evening, as I mentioned before we would take a stroll along the bay and stop at one of the many restaurants for a meal and a drink, we would then arrive back at Manuela, have a drink and then one night the owner didn

This was the worst holiday I have ever had. The hotel had showers by the side of the pool and the glass doors were all broken so they could not be used as it was very dangerous.
Our room was dirty and full of ants. We spoke to the manager and tried to get our room changed but the hotel was full so they were unable to do this. Our room was next to the bar and unfortunately music was played full blast until 3am every night so we were exhausted every day due to lack of sleep. All the staff were unfriendly.
They have taken over the hotel next door and filled in the swimming pool there so guests in the next door hotel had to used the pool at the Manuela. The pool was filthy with a film of grime over the top. We didnt see the pool get cleaned for the 2 weeks we were there. I would never go to this hotel again.

We have stayed in the Manuela for 3 yares now, and its like coming home. The staff are now like family and the welcome and service is difficult to fault. We have recommended this hotel to our friends, and have taken our own family there twice. We travelled without our family this year and the first thig staff asked was where were they, and how are they, messages were sent home to them each time we phoned.
We would stay nowhere else in Bodrum area.
The garden resturant serves excellent meals, we eat ther most nights.

The hotel was first class for cleanliness.
The food was excellent.
I love the location of Manuela. This was our 2nd time at Manuela and it was like going home, the staff remembered us from 4yrs ago.
The entertainment was good but could be better with a new entertainments manager
I am trying to get booked for 2005 but can't find Manuela in brochure I don't want to go anywhere else. It is like having a family in Turkey
