The six of us stayed in Olu Deniz in 2010 as our first taster for Turkey, and thought that resort was very good. However, as soon as I spotted the Mutlu and it's position on the sea front at Chalis, I just had to book it.
The hotel was better than expected, the rooms clean with very good bathrooms, towels and bed linen changed regularly, breakfasts very good and the staff were just so friendly and efficient they deserve 10 out of 10.
The pool area never got crowded and we didn't have to fight for sunbeds and it was just fantastic to have a sea view from every room, eat and drink on the terrace in the sun (or shade if you preferred) and only a short walk to loads of good restaurants and bars.
The one meal we ate in the hotel was on 'Turkish Night' and the food was excellent, but the belly dancer failed to impress.
I liked the Mutlu so much I am going back in September with my husband for his first taste of Turkey, which I'm sure he will love.

This was our first time to this hotel. We arrived about midnight and was taken to our room. The room was basic but clean, plenty of drawer space and wardrobe space. The shower was nice and powerfull, clean towels every day bed linen changed couple of times a week. The only complaint about the room was, the mattress was harder than the sunbeds round the pool. The view from the balcony was the best we'd ever had on holiday. We had a view of the sea and also we could see Fethiye in the distance.Breakfast was the normal turkish bread, cheese, yogurt, ham. You had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea which was lovely. The pool area was nice and clean plenty of sunbeds but could do with some more umbrellas as our second week at this hotel the weather got really hot and there wasn't enough. The hotel is situated in the best possible place. Hotel, promenade, beach then the sea you can't get better than that.I think this hotel suits younger and older couples i don't think this would suit families not enough to do. we have a 15 year old son he did't come with us but he would have been bored.I must admit we had one evening meal in the hotel and it wasn't anything special. I would go back to this hotel.

We visited the hotel with my brother and his partner in August, from the start we were made to feel very welcome. The staff are very friendly, and will do all they can to help you. The food was very good and at breakfast there was the option of omelettes every third day. The rooms are small but adequate, the free air conditioning is a boon. If you want a fridge, ask as soon as you get there, we asked but they didn't have any available.
The pool is small, and some days you can struggle to get beds, but as the beach is so close it isn't too much of a problem.
The position of the hotel is close enough to all the amenities, but far enough away to not be bothered by it

We have visited Turkey 4 times now, and this hotel by far, is the best we have ever stayed in. It's only a small property with 30 rooms but the owners standards are very high indeed.
We satyed B&B and the food was excellent and varied. We also ate at the hotel lunch times and the food was excellent.
Rooms are of an adequate size with free air conditioning. You can hire a fridge at a cost of
