The resort of cancun is fabulous. There is lots to do, great nightlife and all the designer bargains you could wish for - 10/10!

Cancun was worth every penny.

Only 10 mins of rain (if you could have called it that) in the whole 2 weeks we were there. Not bad for the rainy season.

Getting around Cancun couldn't have been easier. There is an excellent public transport system that runs the whole length of the resort. Like everything else the buses are clean.

There are lots of shops; La Isla (outdoor mall) is worth going too. There are lots of designer shops in Cancun. Never saw anyone selling fakes 'hooray’ and staff didn’t pester you to buy there goods. Market 28 was just like any other market so if that’s not your thing at home, I wouldn't even bother going. there’s a huge Wal-Mart, perfect if you was sc.

There are plenty of clubs and pubs but we never got a chance to visit any unfortunately, my advice is use the babysitting services available and go, you'll regret it once your home.

captain hooks pirate ship is a trip I, my hubby and 4yr old son all highly recommend (the captain and crew on the green ship are fantastic) we loved it so much we went twice. They certainly keep all entertained. The drinks are kept coming, the food was great and yet again everything was spotlessly clean.

We didn’t think much of wet n wild. If you have kids under 8 I’d advise you not to waste your money because they might not get on the chutes. There wasn't really that much to do there anyway. It was very clean though.

We loved it and would highly recommend Cancun to friends and family

The resort is very good entertainment wise, and as said above the beach is excellent, and is cleaned every morning of seaweed by the hotel staff. The bar on the beach is a good thing and is handy.
Some re-building is still happening in the resort (Wilma, storm last year), and tree's are being re-planted, this is nothing to worry about, you will only see this in part's of the resort.

The cleanliness of the resort was very good. There was entertainment through out the day, they played various types of music and there was alot of entertainment at night. The beach is man made and quite small, however it was clean and very relaxing.

Cancun is a busy resort typically built to cater for Americans and party animals. Eating out in Cancun can be expensive but if you move slightly away fro the big Americanised outlets you will fare better.

Watch out for the flea markets, the local’s have quite aggressive selling techniques so you need to be on your toes. Also be aware of pickpockets, personally we didn’t have any problems but we were aware of others who did.

Getting out and about is very cheap and easy; we used public local buses all the time and had great fun. If you want to travel further a field then do try the local tour operators, we did with great success. We also travelled a fair bit on our own, across to the island you can see from Cancun, Woman’s Island.

All in all Cancun is what you would expect from a modern resort but if you scratch beneath its surface you will find some real nuggets. It has something for everyone and will mean something different to everyone.

The resort was very american, after having been to US the year before this was not to bad expect the prices everything was overpriced. The bars were very expensive, you had to pay to get into most and there was often a set number of people walking from each one, so if you were late and missed a tour group the place was empty! The way things work out their is you get drunk in your hotel and then go clubbing. The clubs we went to were interesting, did like the fact batman and robin were having fight on the bar in front of us! The only problem with this resort was that the drinks were expensive and it was full of american syudents who had no money and couldn't hold their drink! Its not good seeing everyone being sick around you after 3 halfs, the bus was turning up full of kids daily all mortal before they had booked in!

Had several meals in the Outback steak house, american chain, very nice as good as it was in the US and same price. The beach at the hotel was not existant, small piece of sand at entrance to waterway to the lagoon, sea was also really rough. Went over to the other hotel and the beach was separated into pieces of sand attached to hotels, if you wandered along you would enter another hotel and would get wrong.

Bus service was fab just jump and pay peanuts goes up and down the resort all the time. The shopping malls were worth a look prices wren't to bad not as cheap as the US though, worth filling half an hour when it rains, which it did a lot of.

The resort is very clean, and a tremendous amount of work has gone into re-building the resort after the hurricane.

The beaches are out of this world, and the sea is gorgeous. A must see is Coco Bongos show.

Do not miss this show at any cost.
Quite literally an amazing night out.
