This was meant to be our honeymoon. What a disaster. The room was not only dirty, but dangerous too. It had bare wires and the balcony door didnt lock either. After complaining we got moved to another room that was just as dirty so the following morning we saw rep and had to pay, yes pay, to go to another hotel.

Got our money back after appearing in holidays from hell in the sun newspaper. Was looking forward going to cyprus but would never go back again.

Paul marie apartments are not well maintained. They look like a youth hostal so if you are young then fine but for 30 plus I would say dont go.

when i booked the holiday, upgraded to a room by the pool.the pool being on the roof.when we arrived at the hotel our party was led across a busy road to what can only be described as a barn with about 8 rooms.we were eventually moved into the main hotel later that day but the condition of the rooms were very poor. time and time we tried to contact our rep,but no reply...in the end after 2 crap days we moved ourselves out of the paul-marie and sought alternative accomodation at our own expense...my youngest daughter was 7 at the time and the pool was far to deep for her to play in...don`t beleive what it says in the brochure..it sits at the top of a very steep bank and is about1.5 miles the the beech.i had a quite young family with me and the hotel only caters for the young`uns

Three of us (girls) just came back from Ayia Napa last week (July/Aug 2002) and when we got there we really did not know what to expect in terms of accommodation. We had heard so many reports about cockroaches and poor air conditioning that we thought it could be a bit of a nightmare. How pleasantly surprised we were!!!!! No sign of any creatures anywhere - Thank God! and the air conditioning was a bit too good (we had to turn it off at intervals because the rooms became so cold!). The 2 bedroom apartment itself was larger than we expected and very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite and the food at Paul Marie was great - especially the English breakfast and chicken kebab. The roof top pool was a bit small - more like a big bath really so we did not bother using it. We were literally on the doorstep of 'The Square' which was fantastic for us as we are big time ravers. Close enough that we could walk there in less than five minutes but far enough away that when you got back to the apartment you could not hear any music and could sleep peacefully. Paul Marie is about 8 mins away by car to Nisi Beach and a cab costs about
