This is the 4th time that we have been to the Fig Tree Bay Area and it was fabulous. The hotel was brilliant for the kids and the food was immense so the all inclusive option we thought was well worth the extra money. The rooms were very big and all had good air conditioning working. The pool area was busy and the snack bar during the day was always of a good standard. Plenty of food and all done very well.

The transfer was ok, it was a Thomson holiday so everything went ok and the standard was good. The flight was great as we was on a newer 737-800.

The only bit of a let down was the entertainment during the day, even having the music on around the pool would have been really good and the kids would have loved it. The Thomson staff were really good and the night times were all party for the kids.

I wouldn't take your stroller as you can hire one from the hotel for 20 euros for the week. The only thing that really annoyed us is that we had a late flight and they charged us 80 euros to keep the hotel on for another 4 hours. It kind of left a bitter taste but I suppose after a great stay it didnt matter too much.

Overall we loved the place and would definitely recommend for anyone with a young family that want a nice hotel that does thing properly with a good standard of food and accommodation. To top it off the weather and sun was amazing and the sea outside the hotel is the best and more clearest water that you will see outside of the Caribbean.

Hotel tip: Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram. Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

The Nausicaa is a very well located. There are only a few steps down to the beach.
5 min walk to Protaras.
The pool areas are like the rest of the hotel cleaned very thoroughly every day. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of different choices ex an omelet chef. We didn

Well Nausicaa is something else, part of a themed 'Blue Village' resort. We didn't really sample the entertainment, as we preferred to take the 10-15 minute stroll into the town. It has excellent facilities, such as 2 good pools, steps down into the sea, gym, tabletennis, pool table, jacuzzi, tennis and volleyball courts, and a lovely cove at the back where you can wade into the sandy waters of the Meditteranean (spelling?). Good areas throughout for sunbathing. Rooms were cleaned daily, and had air conditioning. Nice views into the Med from most rooms, and also some bars and restaurants to eat from which we did not sample. The kids club is mainly focused on Scandanavian and Germans, of which there is more of here than British.

To sum it up, great location, great facilities, great rooms, great place - thats why I've been there 4 times!
