This hotel was excellent it is in a central position and overlooks the beach.

We had a sea view room which is well worth the little bit extra you pay. The room was cleaned daily and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We`stayed bed and breakfeast the choice was outstanding and the food was lovely.

You are allocated your own sunbeds for your stay which is excellent. No need to worry about getting up early to get your space in the sun.

The drinks and snacks are very expensive but there is a shop just oppisite the hotel so go there you have been warned!

We would go back to this hotel again so if you have booked this hotel you are in for a treat.

We stayed at the Sunrise Beach hotel in June and could not fault the hotel at all. The reserved sunbeds is a fantastic idea(I don't know why other hotels do not follow suit as this is a main problem with most hotels)we could go down to the pool area at any time during the day and know that our sunbeds, parasol and table would be available. We asked for beds near the childrens pool and sandpit play area and that is exactly what we got so we could relax and still watch the children playing.

The rooms were very spacious with four proper beds and still plenty of room to walk around in. The childrens beds were across the room from ours so you felt like you had your own space.

The breakfast was really good with the biggest and best choice I have ever had in a hotel. The chefs making fresh waffles and pancakes and eggs while you waited was a nice touch.

We stayed bed and breakfast because we like to try different restaurants when on holiday but the food in the hotel was better than anywhere else we ate(except the Limelight in Ayia Napa, try it!). The A la carte menu was superb and the theme nights wer as well.

The staff were the nicest I have ever met, every single one of them from the receptionists to the pool attendant and nothing was too much trouble. They helped us find my son a sunsuit and when I asked for a safety pin because my daughters strap broke on her top they rang for a lady who came out and sewed it back on.

The only downside for some people could be the entertainment especially for the children because although there was a childrens entertainer and he was really nice, because it is not a family hotel and there wasn't that many children there it wasn't very lively. But we don't go on holiday to send our children to kids clubs all day and I don't like hotels with hundreds of children running round screaming so if you want a lovely hotel with good food, big family rooms, civilised guests and brilliant staff in the best location in Protaras the this hotel is for you!

We are going back this year, can't wait.

This is a lovely hotel, in an excellent positon on the beach.The views are wondeful.

All rooms are cleaned every day, with clean towels if needed. The staff are very friendly and will help with any problem.

A brilliant holiday!

This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location (right on the beach) so we could watch our children whether they were on the beach or by the pool without leaving our sunbeds (which are allocated on arrival and you keep till departure).

The food was fabulous, we stayed BB but also dined in the restaurant a few times and the choice was extensive.

The rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels (including beach towels) and bedding. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and very kind to the children.

We can't really comment on the entertainment because we were there very early in the season when the hotel had just opened and the entertainment hadn't started.

We will be going back to Sunrise Beach again in October and we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sunrise Beach is in a fabulous location, right on the beach so you have the best of both worlds: an excellent pool complex or a lovely sandy beach. I liked the sun bed allocation which means there's no morning race for a bed. Also it's very nice to have beach towels provided, although you are encouraged to use them a few times for environmental reasons..............seems a good idea to me.
We had a full sea view which was fab. Rooms are spacious & provided with hairdryer, mini bar, a/c etc.
We were on B&B basis, but for some reason were upgraded to H/B( brilliant!!). Breakfast is superb with a wonderful choice; can't think of anything that was missing from the selection. And we chose to use our H/B allocation for lunches which were also excellent. Only problem is the weight gain!!
Overall a brilliant very professionally run hotel which I would book again if I was returning to Protaras.

this is our fourth visit to this hotel as the location is perfect for the restaurants and bars and is located directly on the lovely fig tree bay beach
offering many watersports. the hotel staff are very friendly and the hotel offers the brilliant sunbed allocation system. the rooms are cleaned daily and fresh beach towels provided we only stayed bed and breakfast and the choice for breakfast was fantastic. the entertainment was slightly on the amateur side but doesn't spoil the holiday. there are plenty of superb restaurants in the resort which is very flat to walk on (which is another bonus) and would highly recommend this holiday for all ages.

After returning to this hotel for the fifth year in a row I can still certainly say its the best hotel by far. The location is perfect right on the strip so there is easy access to the brilliant bars and restaurants although at the same time set back from the main road too.

The beach is literally a stone throw away and what a lovely beach it is. The hotel staff are brilliant, they remembered us every year.

The entertainment is standard but then again most hotels are the same!!!! The maids clean the room ever day and suply clean towels for the beach/pool as well.

I stayed bed and breakfast and eat out every night but the breakfast when I made it in time was brilliant. I would definitely visit again this is by far my favourite holiday

The hotel is really worth it's 4 star rating. We have visited this hotel over the last 10 or so years. The same staff are still there. Even though it is around six years since we last went there the staff still recognised us.
We chose to pay for a front sea view, the views out to sea are wonderful
Meals were sometimes waiter service and sometimes themed nights. For some of the theme nights a supplement is payable but you do have a choice and can eat the normal meal if you want.Food was excellent quality and plentiful.
Drinks are fairly expensive, a bottle of water costing around 3 euro's.
The hotel staff are always friendly and courteous.

We stayed for 7 nights from 9th August 2002.We found the hotel to be absolutely perfect for a beach holiday.It was right in the middle of town and the middle of the best part of Prataras beach. The rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. The beds were changed everyday and clean bath and beach towels were provided daily. The hotel runs a system of reserving sun beds and parasols for the number of nights that you stay. We were allocated our set and stayed there for the duration without worrying about getting up early and chasing the Germans off!

The pool area was very clean with lots of nice touches like knee high foot showers at evey access point to the beach. 3 pools, lagoon style for swimming, 4 ft deep with swim up to the bar and a kiddies pool. Out door bars at either end of the pool/garden area and access to the hotels taverna. Two cocktail bars at either end of the ground floor and a restaurant (that we didn't use) on the first floor. The breakfast was a superb buffet affair that should have satisfied the most fussy of customer.

We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly and wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel.

Protaras has plenty of bars and restaurants but little else. We went for a relaxing beach holiday and the resort and hotel were both perfect.
