Stayed at Club Magic for 2 weeks and could easily have stayed another 2. Cleanliness second to none, the staff are really friendly and look after you well, entertainment best we have had in Egypt. Food in the buffet I would say is ok, some dishes were really nice others ok, you wouldn’t go hungry that’s for sure. The 3 a la cartes are very nice the best being the Baia in my opinion. Service excellent. The pool area is nice and the waiter service is really good, our waiter after the 2nd day was there waiting for us when after breakfast we would go for a swim and when we got back to the loungers he had brought us our coffees and water. He even knew what time we left the pool and always asked if we wanted another coffee before we left. Such pleasant people work there.
I have stayed at a lot of 5 stars and I wouldn’t rank this as one of the best just because of little things, like very few toiletries, no tea or coffee facilities in the room etc but the staff more than make up for those. The only thing I can find to complain about and its not really a complaint is the spa staff who every single day come to you to try and sell their services, bit annoying after the first week when we have said no.
A 5 minute walk from the hotel are some shops and bars if you want to go out of the hotel, we did twice during the day but it was far too hot to walk. Drinks are Egyptian and not really to our taste, beer is ok though.
We really enjoyed our time there and are going back in November. Mainly German Dutch French and Egyptians go there and we had no problems at all with getting along with all of them, they all were enjoying themselves as we were.
