The restaurants are located on the sea front and offer good value local food with friendly service. It's relatively unspoilt and bars have entertainment on in the evening. There is a local village which is one hour walk away but is well worth a visit especially for the views from the church.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in St Georges and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and quiet holiday.

St Georges offers beautiful beaches, amazing Tavernas (The Panorama and Miris not to be missed) and several bars. However the entertainment is geared predominantly towards familys and older couples.

Two of our most memorable days were spent on Kostas boat (he can be found most nights on the main road handing out flyers)visiting Paxos/AntiPaxos, The Blue Lagoon/Silvota. Both trips offer the opportunity to swim in some of the most beautiful bays the Ionian Islands have to offer, as well as enjoying the culture of the two smallest islands and the greek main land. Attending a greek night is also a must.

St Georges SOuth is a nice part of the island. It has a mixture of fabulous restuarants and bars to suit all requirements. There are various activites such a boat trips to enjoy and lots of places to rent cars or quad bikes for the more adventerous. The beach is beautiful with clear seas. If you search you can find secluded areas, very romantic.

St George is a great place for a peaceful holliday. Large safe beach, plenty of water sports, sunbeds, parasols & very good restaurants. Friendly without being hasseled.I can recomend, San Carlos, Almyra & the authentic Greek taverna right at the other end of the resort, the Greek name escapes me but in english its called "your coffe".
This is not a large resort, but there are pleanty of supermarkets and gift shops plus a cash point machine. Teddy & Bessies supermarket is good value & the owner very helpfull if you need help or directions. Car hire is very reasonable & this is a good base from which to explore this truly beautiful island. The sunsets here are Breathtaking.

The resort itself isn't one of those horrible 18-30 type places. Nice little bars and tavernas and not too much loud music.

A great place for a relaxing holiday

St George South is situated along a strip of main road (There's not much traffic apart from scooters though). It's the sort of place where you'll find a mixture of restaurants, bars, and an internet cafe, with the odd Elvis and Ozzy Osbourne impersonator!

There's something for everyone and there are supermarkets for those who choose to self cater.

One place we ate at most nights was the Malibu Taverna. It was at the quieter end of the main strip and you could eat outside overlooking the beach. Great place, great food and reasonably priced.

Kafesas fish taverna was expensive for the area and full of stray dogs!

The beaches were good, but there was quite a lot of litter everywhere. Look out for the sexy viagara donut man!

we as a family with children ages 8 and 12 felt there wasnt a lot for them at st george. there wrere water sports on the beach which was clean but plenty of wasps and mosquitos.there was penty of places to eat at night here the balcony was a favorite also sabastians ( beware if you dont like cats as they roam round most of the restraunts here)there was some entertainment in the restraunts but mostly for adults. if you do go here theos boat trip is a must for all the family. I will not visit this resort again

Resort was very clean and tidy. Entertainment is found in the bars along the main stretch. It is quite limited but at the same time theres enough to keep you busy. We went for 2 weeks and we always found somewhere to go/something to do. The beach is lovely and well looked after. It is quite big and the further down you go, the better. Would go back to St George South again!

The resort was busier than I expected as I imagined it would be just a few Tavernas and bars, however, there are plenty of choices of places to eat, a particular favourite was The Seagull which is right on the front with spectacular views. The cost of food in the resort was very reasonable, a meal for two with wine and a couple of pints usually came to between €28 - €35 There are numerous bars that host entertainment such as karaoke etc. (if that is your choice) it is however, nothing like busy resorts. The beach is beautiful. As the resort is on the southern tip of Corfu if you want to get around the island it is worth hiring a car. I would recommend the resort for people wanting a get away from it all holiday.
