Try St peters beach, turn right at main road, few hundred yards up the road on your right. Great beach side restaurant with nice food and free sunbeds (skaltsounis restaurant)

Aspro Kavos was nice for families, apart from the beach which was dreadful, a good number of restaurants not too far away and without all the noise. I would recommend the Rose Tree Tavern, Dimitir was extremely friendly and the food was good, hope he's got some more staff though. Only ventured into Kavos twice, and that was enough, once you have fought your way through the PR's trying to get you into their bars (I don't think so with a 7 year old) there is nothing there for a family except restaurants, the food at Peeny's was great, loads of it, the rest is taken up with bars and clubs so unless you are on an 18-30 don't bother. There was the usual selection of "tat" shops so hope your friends don't want a gift.

Resort not suitable for children at all.

Nothing for them to do and gets very loud in the evenings with 18/30s.

Kavos is absolutely electric! If you're looking for blissed out days by the pool and wild nights this is definately the place to go.

The only thing that lets it down is the smell, which is obvious as soon as you arrive, although after a few days you do get used to it. Also the beach is not amazing, but even if you get accomodation without a pool you can use other hotels facilities.

Definately the place to go for a lads or girls holiday. It was my second time back and after 3 years it just keeps getting better and better. I don't know anyone who's been and hasn't loved it!

Aspro Kavos is a 15 - 20mins slow walk from the Corfu Sea Gardens. When we went the main resort was virtually closed down, which suited us as we would have hated the noisy bars and night clubs. It is obvious that it is designed for the youth scene. However, when we were there it was quiet and only a few tavernas were open. The resort is very British and many of the tavernas offer British Food. There are few shops and those which are there offer the usual range of hats, beach assessories etc. so do not expect to find any quality shops.
The staff in all the bars, tavernas and supermarkets were very friendly. There is a small sandy beach which is very flat and clean beyond the bar area.

Kavos is a strip of overpriced noisey bars with touts in the street dragging you in.

Fire bar forced us in physically and then charged us 6 euros a drink disgusting inside too! The Barn complex was good and sex foam party unmissable!

Kavos is very lively at night, the main street is filled with clubs, pubs and restuarants. The only problem with people who work for the clubs and that try and pull you in and they don't give up. This is ok maybe the once but when every single pub, club and restuarant is doing it, it gets very annoying. Some bars show films which is good if you dont want to walk through the main street.

The beach is very narrow but does get wider if you carry on walking. At the bottom the sand is clumpy, and not nice, carry on walking up for about 10 minutes and you can find a nice spot there with nicer sand, just watch out for condoms, cigarette stumps, bottles and sexy donut men who bother you.

If you walk through Kavos in the early morning you'll think you was walking in a dumpster, when the bin men come its cleaner but still smells.

The resort was better than expected not to bad at all. We didn't go to the town at night as have young children so don't know what the entertainment was like only that we arrived through the night so saw all the young people having a good time.

I have never meet such nice people ,so friendly. The only thing that i thought was a bit naff was the beach but all the other good things made up for it.

This was the best holiday ever by far no more spain. If you want a good value for money holiday then try corfu sea gardens.

Perhaps if I was 20 years younger I would have enjoyed Kavos more - or maybe if there had been some local buses that I could have used to explore more of this lovely island. For me there were too many fast & furious quad bikes in the streets, which have no pavements, to feel safe during the day and the walk from Aspro Kavos was too dark and dangerous for my liking at night. The people were very friendly though and there are some lovely restaurants, for a great lunch try McMunch for a delicious home baked baguette with almost any filling you want.
