We stayed at the Latania Apartments in Stalis for 11 nights in early September and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.
The apartments are in a fantastic location just off the main beach road that runs through the resort. The rooms we were allocated were a good size and had amenities not always provided in Greece such as a microwave, flat screen TV and bath.
There is a nice pool at the apartments with small children’s section and a children’s play area with swings, slide and roundabout. There is a pool bar serving drinks and food at reasonable prices. Manos who runs the bar was very friendly and accommodating as was Tim who runs the reception and both contributed to us having a very pleasant stay.
There are bars and restaurants on your doorstep yet we didn't experience any noise late at night. The nearest beach is just across the road although we preferred the section of the beach towards the Hersonnissos end of the resort where sunbeds were free in a lot of places as long as you bought food and drinks from the establishment providing the beds.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Latania and wouldn't hesitate in returning.

read some bad reports but had booked anyway,so we were going what ever. it was better than i expected ,the rooms ok if a little dated but its only a base,pool excellent, the staff very friendly and the cleaners worked like dogs all day every day.Although self catering they had food at the pool bar, which was good and reasonable as were the drinks.Oh yeh its says in the brochure you pay a euro a day for sunbeds by the pool this is no the case they are free.They have a regular bbq and kareoke night if this is what you like.

If anybody is planning on staying in Dtalis then the Latania studios is the place to go.
Dtayed in room 216 which was very clean and spacious which included two balconies.
Hotel location was excellent. Beach just opposite and plenty bars and restaurants.
Hotel staff were very friendly.

We booked our holiday to the Latania Apartments as a late deal. We have been to the resort many times before and so knew not to expect too much as far as the accommodation was concerned, especially as we paid so little to go.
We had a lovely surprise when we got there. The studio(216) we stayed in was spotlessly clean, although quite basic,but more than adequate for our weeks stay. We had two lovely balconies but we didn't use them as the pool area was so nice.
The bar staff Manos and Soula made everyone feel so welcome and from talking to the other guests some people return year after year.
We will definitely return to the Latania next May it was a lovely holiday.
One word of warning, don't forget to take lots of insect repellant as the mosquitoes seem to be everywhere this year.
