This hotel was booked on a 5 star all inclusive basis but in its own advertising it states it's 4 star and that is probably being generous.

We booked for the main hotel but ended up in a family room at the top of a steep hill (heart attack steep) but this may have been a blessing as the nightly, poor quality entertainment would have been intrusive.

Food was in general very good but very samey. Served in what can only be described as a canteen style self service buffet. Very noisy in fact reminding me of childhood holidays at Butlins.

There is nowhere to just chill and relax as all pools and areas are used for aerobics, volleyball etc which is not required by all guests.

Although promised international brand drinks these are rarely served unless requested by name, and you are usually given poor local substitutes.

We are still awaiting the fresh fruit promised daily in the room.

In short if you want a stylish, relaxing holiday then choose anywhere else but if you fancy

This was our first visit to both Kos and a Mitsis hotel, and like so many other reports I had read was a bit wary of what we might find. However, we had a fantastic time.

We stayed in a family room which was a short walk (2 mins) up one flight of steps from the main hotel. The room was spacious and clean, had an exceptional sea view from the balcony (as requested), TV and mini fridge which is stocked up every other day. The room was cleaned and new towels provided every day.

The hotel facilities are exceptional, main pool is saltwater and a bit chilly at first! but there is plenty of space in and around the pool as long as you don't go high season. There is a pool (not saltwater) about 2 mins walk from the main hotel with 3 water slides, chairs provided not sunbeds, and a baby pool near the main pool.

The food is superb, plenty of choice, eat as much as you want excellent standard of cooking. We tried the Chinese restaurant that you must pre-book for. The missus enjoyed it, but I wasn't too impressed, small menu, reasonable food. The are bars in the main hotel, by the waterslides and on the beach, so your never far from a beer. Ask for main brands by name if you require them. The only problem we found with the location was the beach, which is shingle and falls away to quickly into the sea, two steps in and your up to your waist. Not much use to my 4 year old but she loved the kids club too much to worry about it.

The entertainment was as decribed on reports I had read. "Cheesey". But never the less it is very entertaining, kids mini disco, bingo and a "show". The entertainment staff are brilliant. A 16 hour a day schedule (day off Thursday so we had to endure a Greek band in the evening) they are always smiling and helpful and great fun. The kids club look after 4 to 11 year olds from 10 - 12 and 3 - 5 an there is a kids disco in the evening, my daughter loved it.

We would certainly go back to this hotel/location and I would recommend it to anyone with kids.

The only gripes we had were with our Thomas Cook rep, did we have one? Only saw him once on the trip from airport to hotel and that the reception staff are disorganised, unhelpful and discourteous.

The holiday was booked on an 'All Inclusive' basis which we found to be very good value.

The hotel itself was immaculate, and the rooms were kept in a very clean condition on a daily basis'

The location of the Hotel may not be located in pleasant green field type surroundings but this added to the character of the area and as for being close to the beach, if you were in the main building of the Hotel, then you only had to walk out the back of the Hotel and you were in a lovely pool area closely followed by the beach. My only complaint here is - if you are unlucky enough to be allocated one of the bungalows at the Hotel (and I was), the nightly climb back to the top of the hill where it was located, is even a test for the fittest of people.

The food and the staff that served it to you were excellent, you got what you asked for and it was always with a smile and a natural friendliness which the staff seemed to have.

Though the entertainment could be a bit intrusive during the day, if you did take part, you were well looked after and it was FUN.

I'm already looking at re-booking for next year - but would have to be on the condition of being located in the main building this time.

Stayed at the Norida beach hotel for one week.

Thouroughly enjoyed it. Food particularly good with very wide and varied choice.

The attitude and manner of the staff was the best l have ever encountered.

I would certainly go to this hotel again and will recommend it to friends.

We stayed for 2 weeks actual hotel was fab, very clean all the staff were excellant especially the bar staff willing to make you many cocktails, give them a small tip they really look after you.

The food was very repetative and on many occassions greasy. Hotel facilities could be better the daytime programme was the same every day but the dream team do make it fun with diplomas awarded every nite, night time entertainment was very boring though not the actual teams fault.

Disco la boom left a lot to be desired! The all inclusive water sports consisted of canoes and water padalos these were only availabe on 3 occassions out of the 2 weeks water sports were pricey.

Hotel location was nice with a free bus into kardamena regulary. many trips available but would advise booking in town not with reps. Turkey trip particulary good and worthwhile.

The Norida Beach Hotel in Kardamania was fantastic for adults and children.
The food was out of this world, catering for every pallate imaginable.

The staff where very friendly(I think you would find it very hard not to find a friendly greek) I visited another web sight before going away to find some very worrying reports. But when we got ther I really cannot find on what grounds they were found.

The location is just far enough away from the hussle and bustle of the local "Bar Street" but even these roads were safe enough to walk down even with a family.

I have been to this hotel twice now and would keep going back year after year. It has all the everything you need there. The hotel site is very impressive and i cannot fault the food or drinks (they do serve named brands these are hidden under the bar you must ask)Food is very good all needs catered for the staff are very nice and helpful. The animation staff this year were excellant, Melanie , Francessca, Ronnie, Max and Micheal work so hard 16 hour days but always have time for you and make your stay a welcome one. There is plenty to do in the hotel form darts, water areobics, shooting, football and much more. The kids are looked after in the mini club in the day and a mini disco at night. The hotel is a 5 min taxi ride to main town which costs 7 euros, there is also a bus but on by the hotel . So access is easy, but if you walk along the beach road it is a nice scenic view. There is a diso for the younger ones which stays open till 2am if you want a late drink but you have to pay in here as the all inclusive stops at 12am, but they are big measures and same price as in town. The pizza and Crepes are out of the world ans prepeared in front of you, the Chinese restuarant is good limited choice but good food. They will let you have more than one main meal if you would like to try other stuff , dont just think you have to have one , we always ordered an extra main meal.

I went to Norida beach in the summer of 2004. I enjoyed the holiday but I think a lot could be improved. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Your room got cleaned everyday, however this can get annoying when you want to get in your room and that time is normally when the maid is in there!

The food was excellent. The kitchen staff were excellent. They are very good with children too and they soon make friends! The food was delicious but the time of the main resturant opening varied, so that can get annoying.

The hotel staff didnt really want to mix and talk. It was like there was a boundary between them and guests and sometimes they can be rude by things like shoving money in your hand and not looking where they are putting your drinks so it nearlly goes over you. Look out for this it happens quite often!

The dream team were o.k (entertainment)it was better when you got involved but there are a varied number of tables where you can see and get involved and thats when you get to them at about 6:30 when you can get a table.

The day times activities were good but you have to make sure you knw when they are happening because the hotel is very big.

I would visit this hotel again upon one condition; that I get put in the hotel because going up and down 'cardiac' hill everyday is very hard even for the fittest.

If you do stay in one of the bungalows don't forget anything because the last thing that you want to do is to have to go up that hill again.

We stayed at the Norida beach last year and we loved it so much. The first time we'd ever been to Kos and so didn't know what to expect.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly especially Dionisis the waiter. The bar staff, and the entertainment team were lovely asking you every day if you were ok and helped better than Thomas Cook reps if they could.

We stayed in the hotel last year but are going in the bungalows this year can't wait to go even up that steep hill as we love every thing about this place.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, food was excellent always hot and cooked in front of you. My two boys loved pancakes for breakfast every day, treat the Greeks with the kindness they give us and they look after you the best very nice friendly people and always there to help.
