I was amazed at the amount of dog mess on the pavements and this really meant that I cannot give the cleanliness a good mark. Qawra itself is not big on entertainment - but this may be better during the main season. However, Buggiba is a short walk and this had much more going on - but the main entertainment we saw was based on Karaoke.

As with most of Malta - there is no beach at Qawra but you can get into the sea over the rocks. The bad weather meant that we didn't give it a go however!!

Qawra appears to be somewhat cleaner than Bugibba and is also less built up. It's okay but not my favourite location in Malta. I go here only to meet up with my parents when they are in Malta on holidays.

We always travel in February and there seems to be a regular band of entertainers - Martin Elvis, Diamond Karaoke, Danny de Vito, Marlene (Country & Western) plus a lot more of similar style.

There are no sandy beaches in this area - only rocky coves. The promenade area is long and it's possible to walk all the way round the coast from Qawra into Bugibba.

I would go back to visit my parents there but would not choose this resort if it were for my own holiday.

We have been to Qawra and Buggiba on numerous occasions and love it. We will hope to be back there again soon as there is a fantastic atmosphere in the area and there are some good hotels there too. But, be warned, be very careful where you go to stay.

Resort was in a good location however in september not everything is open. No beach, just rocks. Nearest good beach was an 45 minute bus ride which you may have to stand up as they pack the buses.
Their seemed to be loads of rubish bags about as they pick up rubbish over night so its out all day.

Not as much to do as in a Spanish or Turkish resort but Malta is Marmite (you either love it or hate it!). Excellent beaches 10 minutes away in Golden Bay and Gjnana

Kind of an average seaside town. You could get reasonable entertainment and meals, not particularly varied but all at good prices, drinks- coffees, soft drinks and alcohol all very reasonably priced. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the warmth, only one small stretch of sand if you have small children. Bus terminus served most of the major tourist spots and bus fares extemely cheap, not difficult to fill a week travelling to a different destination each day. Would say Qawra well suitable for families and couples.

The resort of Qawra/Buggiba is a decent one for shopping and nightlife. There is a bus terminus which will have a bus to take you to just about anywhere on the island for 50p.
It's a great little place as is Malta itself.
They have many great restaurants that cater for all tastes and budgets. We had a very expensive birthday meal at the Guillieru.
