This hotel was absolutely amazing. I am VERY picky and always seem to find something wrong in the cleanliness area. The entire hotel was spotless. All the restaurants were great (we didn't try them all as were very happy with SPICE). The beach area was small, but there seemed to be plenty of room for thos who wanted to lay out there. The sister hotel had more beach next door and you are welcome there as well. We never had a problem finding a place at the pool however, we were always out there by mid-morning. We had no intention of buying into their "timeshare" pitch, but loved the hotel so much we did purchase more weeks to return and plan to go back for 2 weeks in July. CAN'T WAIT!! This was our BEST vacation EVER and we have been to Europe and all over the US.

Do not read or even believe the bad reviews on The Royal in Cancun...
This hotel is mega. It is fantastic, it is wonderful etc etc. The only thing you have to do for yourself is hygene and getting dressed!!
Plush rooms (all sea view) double jaqcuzzi over looking the sea in all rooms, mini bar and optics in all rooms. Staff are fantastic.
Food is wonderful along with anything that you could want.

amazing! was a luxury holiday, cleaned continuously. food really was all a la carte, amazing. staff were all great, especially martin in maria marie, roberto in spice, israel the pool butler, juan in 24 hour bar. you can go where ever you want malls, baes, restaurants etc, but haey why do you want to leave? entertainment at night was low key but met some lovely people so made up for it!
