This is an amazing property. Yes it is removed from the
main resort, but there is a great courtesy bus system during the day and a taxi in the evening is approx 5 euros. It is very peaceful. There is a supermarket a 10 minute walk away.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the complex is spotless.
The food is very good - breakfast is a buffet, plenty of chioce both hot and cold dishes. The pool/snack bar is great value and again plenty of choice. The dinner menue is smaller than some, but again goos value.
This is not the best complex for families - only a small childrens pool and games room with pool etc. The entertainment in the evening is ok if you don't want to go the marina, but not fantastic.
Overall a fantastic base for a relaxing holiday. Can't wait to go back!

The Hotel do Golfe's location provided a quiet, civilised atmosphere that would suit those who want to avoid other people's noisy and ill-mannered children and teenagers.
The pool and surrounding area were always clean and tidy and the rooms were impeccable.
The kitchen area was well stocked for self-catering needs. Sheets and towels were changed daily by efficient and friendly staff.
The free courtesy bus ran punctually mornings and afternoons. Taxis cost from 5-10 euros but a hire car with A/C cost only

We spent a week here for our honeymoon! Bad idea, it was way too far from anywhere decent. There is a courtesy bus to vilamoura but don't hold your breath waiting for it!
There is local transport buses at the bottom of the drive but again wait for about 2 hours then 2 will come within 10 mins of each other.
The apartments were spacious and clean and during the evening the complex looks great lit up especially the pool.
If you like golf then this is for you but we wouldn't recommend it to young couples or families.
