The hotel provided excellent value for money. May be worth considering paying a little extra for a pool/sea view although we did not do this and the room was fine.

the resort was exellent there was lots of entertainment things to do all the time lots of shops it was great

Malgrat de Mar is a very clean wee town, the beach was of a high standard and the resort had enough entertainment for me and my partner.
Though if you have children there isnt much to do at night but shop, there was a soft play area and an arcade that I saw, but to be fair I wasnt out off my hotel that much at night as what was in there suited me.
It is also close to the more lively resort Santa Suzanna if the entertainment isnt lively enough for you in Malgrat. There is a water park near by and of course the Barcalona football stadium is an hour on the train.
I would definitley visit Malgrat de Mar again sometime soon in the near future.

Resort was very pleasant. Plenty of shops and a market.
Beach was coarse but manageable-watch out for jellyfish!
It was a lively place, with lots of British themed pubs, serving inexpensive and very filling food.

Santa Susanna is still very Spanish compared to other over developed resorts and hasn't attracted the lager louts yet!!!!

Did not use the entertainment in resort but was always lively when we went out at night for a stroll.

Great safe resort. Clean and friendly. Been there 5 times.
The best place in town is the Rovers Return. Don't miss it for great food and hilarious entertainment. Owners Ronnie and Tommo are the nicest people ever as well as Jill, Dot and Phil who treat you like Royalty.
We miss them already.

Great resort enjoyed every minute of it.
Beach spotless, Champions bar, Rovers Return and the Shamrock pubs is were we spent our nights found it really reasonable.
I am going to Lloret de Mar in September so I will be going back to see the resort.
The train is very good we went to Callella, Pineda markets and it was 1 euro 15 each way.

Resort was very keen. Very sedate - lots of people with zimmers and wheelchairs. Very safe for kids.
We had six teenagers with us who couldn't get an alcoholic drink for love nor money much to their total disgust. They did manage to get BB guns however - will be banned from outset if we ever go again.
Beach looked very clean but slopes steeply into the water
Lots of little places to mooch around on the promenade and places to eat ice cream.
Probably not a great place for young people but if you like your holidays sedate and civilised this is the place to come.

The resort was clean and Street Sweepers were out on the Esplanade every morning. Ample selection of Bars and Eating Houses. Good selection of shops which opened at about 10 o'clock in the mornings. 5.70 euros return to Barcelona by Train (75 minutes) or 2.30 euros return to the other local resorts - Blanes, Pineda, Calella and Santa Sussanah. An open market in one of the resorts most days of the week and worth a visit. Not being a "sun worshipper" I didn't go bathing on the beach, but had several walks there. Rather gritty sand and heavy work to walk on, but very nice beach. This was my first holiday abroad, and I will be returning to Malgrat again in mid-October.
