The hotel provided excellent value for money. May be worth considering paying a little extra for a pool/sea view although we did not do this and the room was fine.

The resort is quite small with not much happening.
A small road of "English pubs" was as exciting as it got.
Would not recommend this resort for a family holiday but is fine if, as a couple you wish to "get away" for a break.

The actual resort is first class for families. There is plenty to do around and about. here are not too many single people about and you feel safe with your young children. We have been to the resort 6 times because we like it so much and have made many friends over the years who we see each year.

Santa Susanna is a small, frienldy resort with a few shops and a great beach.
The adjoining resort is Malgrat de Mar. Malgrat is more lively and you'll find a few English pubs thrown in for good measure, as well as more night clubs and bars.
Both are served by a fantastic train service which runs all the way to Barcelona and is regular and amazingly cheap.
Watch your belongings though as pickpockets do tend to use the trains to target the tourists, but you get that in any country or area so don't be put off, just remember to pack your common sense!!

The resort was spotless but overrun with Germans, Dutch and Russians. Well worth a trip on the coastal railway to Barcelona and the land train around Santa Sussanna old town for the equivilent of £1.50 all in all bustling resort, shame about <a href="http://www.holiday-truth.com/holiday_truths/hotel_reviews/1233/">hotel</a>.

The resort was lovely, I would definitley take my son there, it would suit young couples with children.
Very clean town, much bigger than stated in brochures.
Not much entertainment unless you called into other hotels.
Pleasant atmosphere, no trouble that we saw.
