If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

Problem with room temp in some rooms so pay more for poolside.x take a mozzie spray and spray your room..those wee bleeders can ruin a holiday.Good wee bar called Lilly Langrtys across rd if your hungry at lunchtime.good food and cheap beer!

I would imagine in the main hotel top tip just have B and B as there are plenty good restaurants around the hotel another good tip book a different hotel.

Benalmadena deserves loads of visitors, especially those with kids who like wildlife and trips. We went to the zoo, the sealife centre, a bodega and the almond factory and our 8 year old loved them. Her highlights were the dolphin show, the sea-lion show, all the animals in the zoo which you can mostly get really close to and the trip to the almond factory (really scrummy surprisingly). This resort though seems to have mostly anything you would like and is in a good location for travelling to Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella. Buses were cheap, clean, numerous and on time. The people were friendly, appreciated it if you at least tried to master a smidgin of the lingo and were only too pleased to help.

The resort itself was very good. The facilities were there for either a quiet or lively holiday. The port area was excellent with a top notch variety of bars, restuarants and shops.
The beach was average.
I would visit this resort again but would not stay at the Nautilus again as we felt we were not welcome.

We were there for a long weekend at the beginning of October 2004.
Weather was lovely and warm, with just a couple of isolated rainshowers to worry about. It was great strolling along the prom and sitting having a beer watching the world go by.
There was still plenty to do in the evenings at this time of year, and I ended up on a karaoke machine!
We will definitely be back.

The resort itself was very nice. Plenty of things to do. The beach is lovely and clean with plenty of sun beds.
The marina is a must. At night when it is lit up it looks stunning, and the boats are the stuff of millionairs!!
There are plenty of shops and bars/restaurants around the marina.
24 hour square is the place to go for nightlife. If you want clubs that don't seem to close the this is the place for you.
It is a very nice walk along the prom into Torromelinous, takes about 45 mins.
We will definitley be going back.

Quite a nice resort with a long promenade, the best area being the marina end, very pleasent to walk in the evenings. The beach at the other end where we stayed didn't seem to be cleaned so often and was a bit dirty, loads of dog ends etc. Lots of restaurants and bars, so many it's hard to decide which to go in, was a bit quite as it was mid October when we visited.

This is a brilliant resort and the bus service is first class and very easy to use along with the train service. We used taxis to and from the airport 20 euros from the airport and 19 euros going back!!!

Benalmadena is a very nice resort with a long sea front ending in the most pleasant harbour area.
There are ample places to eat but I would imagine in the summer that parking and public transport become a serious problem.
The marina is a very nice place to spend an hour or two watching the boats and tourists and eating in one of the small cafes.
