We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

I always thought that Torremolinos was full of brit pubs, lager louts etc, how wrong I was . When we went in May it was really quiet and a lot more Spanish than we expected. Rumor has it the lager louts have moved on to new locations nowadays. We had a car so did many day trips to keep the kids amused. May be different in peak season .

Resort pretty quiet due to the time of year, but for a family with small kids wanting a week in the sun, in a lovely resort you couldn´t go wrong. I know peple venture further afield for the sun but its has been great weather, and a far cry from Easter at home in the pouring down rain.
Lastly if there are any spelling mistakes accept my aplogies but I´m on my third glass of sangria!! HASTA LUEGO MI AMIGOS

The resort and beaches are very clean. We visited off season and quite a few places were closed ,so cannot really comment on the entertainment

Torremolinos is a lovely place with lots to see and do. Go to the crocodile park, 8 Euros in a taxi, you will see the biggest croc in southern Europe and even get to hold a small one.

I would visit the resort again but only for a short break as I think I would be bored for two weeks. I would recommend it for more older couples.

Resort did not have a lot going on but this I expected this time of year as we have been 3 times before.

My marks for the resort are rather low because we booked out of season, but during high season I bet this place is buzzing with shops, bars and restaurants.
We did not visit the beach - bit cold in first week of February.
Would definitely come back in high season.

La Carihuela is a lovely clean resort and the promenade is excellent. 20 minutes walk (all flat) takes you to Benalmadena which is also very nice.

A lot of dog dirt on side streets but main streets very clean.
we did not go out to the entertainment at the resort the hotels entertainment satisfied us

The resort was very clean and tidy, everything was on the flat, so very ideal for disabled people, or people with young children!
The hotel is situated directly on the beach front with palm trees for shade and good clean sand.
