Try The Beer Kellar Restaurant near to the Moby Dick Also try The Shadow Bar, it is opposite the tall Hotel Dobrugha. Steffy's Bistro alongside the Hotel Dobrugha.

The hotel is situated at the end of the resort, so there is no through traffic, there is the 'wally trolley' otherwise known as the noddy train that stops outside the hotel every 20 mins that takes you into the resort costs 2 levs..about 70pence.

Resort is lovely and clean, with many restaurants and bars...all cater for kids, lots to do for them!

The Beach is 4km so your not all bunched on top of each other, although the sea is not particularly warm, and is home to lots of little fish and sea creatures....hundreds of dead crabs washed up while we were there...but it did not put us off swimming.

Would revisit again.

The resort was definitely good for families. It was not too bustling but there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The beaches are very big and there is plenty for the children to do. The whole place is very clean and I would definitely visit this resort again.

Albena was a lovely resort. The beach was clean, with plenty of bars, market stalls, and restaurants, all of which were reasonably priced and well maintained. The sun lounger staff were very polite. But is popcorn really beach food???

The resort is peppered with Bars and restaurants, all of which seem to offer live entertainment.

The food is cheap and very nice, and the service was exceptional. Credit goes to 'Mario' as the waiter of the week, 'The Bulgarian Bear'.

There's a market with a variety of goods on offer. There's also a small fairground for the little ones, and a couple of "Adult" clubs (bit of blue for the dads!).

The resort is small, but very tidy, there's numerous ways to get up or down the valley, including a regular, FREE, bus service, and lots of road trains, which continue till midnight. I felt safe at all times, and friendly holiday makers and locals made you feel welcomed in Albena.

Also, it has no McDonalds, which is a winner in my books, and also a first!

Albena is a very beautiful town, not too big and noisy like Golden Sands. No noisy nightclubs. Come midnight all is quiet. Great for families but not for young part goers.

The resort of Albena is very family and German orientated. We used to get a taxi from there to Goldan Sands every night because it wasn't lively at all and the 1 English bar had German karaoke!!!

Very clean again - I was warned about the prostitutes but I didnt see one.
If you have blonde hair the women dont like you very much -I got a lot of dirty looks because of this and so did other people I spoke to!

I wouldn't stay here again because the nightlife wasn't enough for me but I would recommend to families.

People very friendly, inviting you into places to eat or for a drink and taking no 'thank you' as an answer not mithering you like in some resorts. Mixture of nationalities German, French, Swiss, Finnish, English, Netherlands. Beach was quiet but we did go at the beginning of the season, and wasn't very busy.

I thoughly enjoyed this holiday, I went on my own with my two children, everyone is friendly, animation staff are absolutely fantastic with the kids and daytime activities, hotel situated on the beach, complex is on a nature reserve, weather was good, had one stormy day, lots of watersports. i advise that a visit to the waterpark at sunnybeach, it is only 40lvs return, which is really good, aprox 2.70ish to the pound.

I cannot knock this holiday whatsoever, Brilliant, I would definately return again.

Good for kids.

This wasn't a very big resort with only a small amount of bars and restaurants most bars had singers entertaining, there was also bowling, horse riding a small fair and a theatre.

The resort was clean and had a lovely beach with all the usual water sports I wouldnt visit this resort again as it wasn't to my liking.

The resort of Albena is lovely the entertainment in the restaurants and bars in the area is fantastic.

We recommend you visit the Tropical bar the entertainment and staff in there are excellent and Elvis and little elvis are great. The group on the side where there is karaoke are brilliant and the girl who run's the karaoke is lovely and works really hard to keep you entertained.

( BEWARE ) of the man sat on the road outside the Druzhba hotel, tapping a board selling cigerettes & tobacco. I bought tobacco of him supposed to be Golden Virginia the seals had all been broken the tobacco was dry definitley not Golden Virginia it was like the dregs they sweep up in the tobacco factory I was well & truly cheated by him.

I would definatly go Albena again but buy my tobacco on the plane in future.
