We have just returned and had a fab time the hotel is great.
Excellent pools plenty of space around them and lots of sun beds.
We found the food to be very good cooked English breakfasts, fruit, croissants etc and evening meals were really nice again all buffet style. Selection of salads and a theme each evening- oriental, carvery, Greek, Italian night etc.
We enjoyed most of the entertainment particularly the shows performed by the Thomas Cook team Matt, Cally, Hannah and Eve they did singing and dancing
shows stuff from Moulin Rouge, Chicago and also a 70's style show suitable for all the family. Bingo every evening and daytime activities were good poolside quiz, darts, water polo etc.

Someone earlier on a previous review mentioned that a parrot show would be better, I personally find this sort of show disgusting and it seems to happen no matter where you go, Majorca, Canaries etc thankfully it wasn't on in Cyprus........

This was the best family holiday I have been on. The entertainment was FANTASTIC so don't listen to any of the other people who say the entertainment was rubbish!!!
All of the staff were very friendly and professional.
Rooms absolutly fantastic and the location was good. They have men clearing the pool area all day long so it is constantly clean.
The entertainment team by ~Thomas Cook was the best I have ever seen. Very friendly and very funny! Matt, Cally, Hannah and Eve!! Absolutly fantastic!

We stayed in the Tsokkos Gardens in Pernera. I thought these were a fantastic location, right near the beach and the bars. The hotel was cleaned every day and the staff their were fantastic!
The Thomas Cook entertainment at the hotel was fantasic and kept everyone entertained every night. The food was brilliant but again try Station Pub for a nice meal in the evenings for a change.
I would definitly recommend the hotel as the location is good, surrounded by some cool pubs but easy to access all the lively places in Protaras.

This was a fantastic hotel. We had a brilliant time here.
It wasn't to noisy at night as there was only a few bars surrounding it so that was great. One bar in paticular - Station Pub was a fantastic night out. The bar staff were great - the owner is gorgeous.
The hotel was very clean,the food was great, and the Thomas Cook entertainment staff were fab!

The weather was boiling,it must be unbearable July / August time!
The room was plenty big enough, it had carpeted floors,
a kettle (bring your own tea or coffee), hair drier, air con, a double bed & a balcony with no furniture? The maids cleaned & changed towels daily.
The food we found good, breakfast served between 7 & 10 was excellent, so much to choose from. Evening meal 18.30 & 21.30 was themed differently every night, if your a veggie your food needs to be ordered (choice of 2 different meals daily) by 3pm every day at reception, although if you don't theres always plenty of salads in the large buffet.
The hotel has a few bars, restaurants & shops around it. It's a 20-25 min walk into Protaras main stretch, which has loads of bars & shops all selling much the same as the other. We walked down most evenings due to the fact the drinks in hotel were really dear (c

We anticipated 4 star but it actually is 3 star plus, the tv has no english channels which is very dissapointing and not representivive of the Tosskos site.We stayed on the first floor, the rooms could have been cleaned a little better on a daily basis- there was some black mould in the shower area and we asked for this to be cleaned. We had a good sea view, the hotel is only 250 meters from the beach.
A very relaxing enjoyable stay, with reasonable good food, however after 2 weeks the menu is rather repetitive! Very happy with this hotel and it was better than previous holidays we have had in Cyprus.
Staff were helpful with a pleasant manner.
We would definately go back again.

Just back 18/5/2006 after taking my mother for her 60th birthday....
Hotel was very clean and the waiting staff were 1st class, your plate was removed within seconds of finishing your food.
Bedrooms were adequate however beds were hard, no english channels on tv and you had to pay to use the fridge in the room
Food was good however never 4 star quality.
Weather was amazing never saw a cloud till we left yesterday
Entertainment- TOTAL DISGRACE- non existance I'd even look forward to the normal parrot show that we have all seen.

When I booked this holiday, I booked it as self catering, however, due to us arriving out of season, a lot of restaurants and bars were closed so we paid extra to go half board. The food in the hotel was varied and was nice.
The rooms were clean and sheets and towels were changed regularly. The hotel and apartments were also very clean, with all of the pools spotless.
The only downside was the entertainment, which was the same every night - karaoke and bingo. With there not being much going on near the hotel, we had to walk into Protaras for any real entertainment.

Having stayed in the Anastasia the year before, and enjoyed it, the facilities in this hotel were better. It was a typical major group hotel - all Tsokkos have the same menus etc.
The food was just above average and there was a good choice of meals available. The best menu is the blue snack menu available from mid to late afternoon, but this is not advertised.
Rooms were basic and clean with everything you needed. Staff were very good to poor and this was down to their lack of english, but the ones that could speak english were very good.
Entertainment was totally naff but there are a few good bars on your doorstep, with Pernerna a 10 min walk and Protaras a CYp

This hotel is mainly all inclusive and we were half board for which we were grateful as it enabled us to go out in the evenings for a drink. As there were loads of children running around at all hours and it was extremely noisy.
The food was excellent with a good choice and always well cooked and hot.
