The apartments are great. They are clean, big, have everything you need but it is advisable to get air con as it can get extremley hot. The owners George and Poppy are great fun, George with his constant giving away of free shots and Poppy with her amazing cooking. The BBQ on a Sunday is a must, great food, great atmosphere and good fun. The apartments are about a 15 minute walk from the centre but you can walk along the beach following the habour. Malia is about 10 minutes in a taxi and well worth a visit - goo to Zoo and order a fishbowl or any drinks and sit in a booth.

Fantastic hosts Poppy, George Spiros and Mama make you feel so at home they do all they can to make your stay the best BBQ is great but dont get dressed up and the food is great too enoyed our stay was sorry to leave and was good to meet Poppy family made some great friends on our holls Simply The Best!!!!!

Sun & Sea is a great holiday resort, we would advise anyone and everyone to go and stay there. this year was under new management george and poppy were great looked after us really good and had a great time, we will be definatley returning next year!!

we had a fantastic time rooms were cleaned frequently,beds made staff were excellent george and poppy really made you welcome nice relaxed time during the day by the pool then fun at the bar in the evening everyone made friends very quickly a very warm and friendly couple we were sad to leave and will definetly be returning.

Enjoyed our stay, clean and cosy apartments. Very friendly around the pool in the day. Great BBQ night on a Sunday! Dont miss it. Was not troubled buy any noise at night like most other reviews complain about, there are shutters & doubled glazed french doors! Only negative is it was abit of a trek from Hersonisoss centre, but right in front of bus stop to take to town or Malia cheaply.

We had a great time in our stay at this hotel! George and Poppy were fantastic and always ready to pour a shot or make a burger for you!! Rooms were cleaned 2 or 3 times in one week and towels changed frequently. Bit far out from main centre but taxis are cheap so we also took ourselves off to Stalis and Malia a couple of nights for 7 euros! Met some great people here - as there is only a few apartments everyone gets to know each other and we had some great nights at the pool bar! Would definately go back!

We stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks in the middle of June and had the most brilliant holiday ever !! Giorge, Poppy and Spiros are an amazing family. Giorge and Poppy are so friendly and will do anything for you, Spiros is a cheeky little monkey and will keep you entertained for hours around the pool. The food at the apartments is excellent and so are the cocktails. The free shots were wicked too but watch out for the Raki - evil drink !!!!
It was quite a long walk from the town centre but well worth it. Highly recommend Quarto bar if your into you RnB and Hip Hop music. Loads of really nice restaurants in the town and along the sea front which are all reasonably cheap.

we have just come back from the sun and sea we have been here 6 times. but this year it was under new managment. who are george and poppy and there little boy spiros. we had a fantastic time. the hotel is in the middle of every thing 2 min walk to star beach.and its close to all the shops.the bbq where amazing!! the rooms were cleaned every day. every night we tryed loads of diffrent shots. we met loads of new friends who we will definately be seeing again next year! poppy made great food. and george is the best bar man we will definately be back so have that bottle of red vodka ready!!

This was are fourth visit to the Sun and Sea Apartments and this year it was under new management.
The family that now look after it are George and Poppy along with there young son Spiros, The apartments are keep very clean and Poppy will supply you with some very nice food, George is the best bar in Crete (so he told us)and supplies plenty of shots through out the day and night.We really enjoyed are selves and met some great new friends along with meeting up with a lot of old ones, we are looking forward to returning next year and would like to thank George and Poppy for making are stay at the Sun and Sea a very enjoyable time.

This was our 6th time at the sun and sea, and probably one of our best. As always the apartments were kept very clean. george and poppy the new managment were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Great food and great booze!! Seen all our friends that we meet every year and also made new ones which we will be seeing again next year as we have all booked again. Yamas Yamas Yamas.
