The beach at Aghia Pareskevi was beautiful and clean.
The only amenity that was lacking was a shower on the beach.

Skiathos is an island that hasn't been ruined yet by mass holiday makers- not many people have even heard of the place let alone been there- so the beaches are fantastic ( all 66 of them)!! its so friendly- the greeks are a fantastic set of people. My opinion is give it 5-10 years and it will developed on so much it will become as tedious as spain and places like that so go and see this wonderfull island now- i went in the height of the season and it wasn't a case of go and reserved beds on beaches, theres so many of them none of them are completely overcrowded. its also a place that caters for all ages, quietly relaxing with a town that offers everything- even clubs! it all seems a million miles away! i am waiting for a bad commemt on skiathos and can bet anything no-one ever says a bad word about the marialena apartments

Aghia Pareskevi is a good resort to visit, as it is in the middle between Skiathos town and Koukinaries, so not too far on the bus from either of those. There are selection of Tavernas to keep you going if you didn't want to venture out of the resort. As expected, there aren't any loud bars or disco's, this is a relaxing place with a great long sandy beach.

Skiathis is for those requiring a relaxed vacation. No rushing about anywhere so perfect for couples and families wanting to chill. No where is far away and all areas can be visited with the minimum of fuss by bus (gets crowded!) of taxi. Very green island, nice cooling breezes and some of the best beaches we have been on. Range from quite busy to secluded so expect some interesting views.........!
Vromlimnos and Banana were our favourates.
Food typically Greek with a few variations for those prefering a more cosmopolitan menu. If you don't ask for chips (and we would suggest you don't) then you are likely to have lemon potatoes with most meals. Try them and you will not desire anything deep freid again.
Expect to see us there again.

The resort itself is very clean and the beach is one of the loveliest. The only real entertainment around the island is in Skiathos Town.

Lovely beach not too crowded even in August.
Good locationf or sightseeing and great cheap bus service.

The resort itself was very clean and tidy. There wasn't really any entertainment but there was a good bus service running regularly into skiathos town. The beach was excellant very clean and tidy and no trouble getting a lovely spot to lay down and relax.

The resort is located along a stretch of the main coast road. Consists of a handful of bars/restaurants - no entertainment in resort at all. Very very quiet but the bus makes it very easy to get into Skiathos town for a more lively evening out. Beach lovely with quite good snorkelling.
