Although the complex has a very plush marble reception area, with a decent pool area with enough loungers and a snack/drinks bar, the rest of what we have to say here will give you the actual picture of how it was in September 2008.
The brochure will not tell you that the apartments are on an almost 1:1 slope. There is an old and new block (new in the brochure), but both get the considerable road noise at all hours, plus the eye popping sound of air wrenches and male shouting in Greek at most passing traffic from the family

We stayed at the christina Studios for 1 week. We arrived around 4pm in the afernoon, Christina and the girls met us off the coach and took us to reception where we checked in. Our room was on the ground floor with a balcony which had lovely views of the sea. The whole complex was spotlessly clean and tidy. The room was very basic, but we only used it to sleep in anyway! I would strongly recommend spending the 35 euros to get the air-con. We didnt and it was really hot in the room on a night.
Pool area and pool bar lovely, very welcoming. plenty od sunbeds and umbrellas.
Large variety of food available all day in the pool bar, all cooked by christina and the girls, very good prices and very tasty!
Christina greeted us every morning with a friendly hello and a chat, very different to other places we have stayed!
Be warned about the steep hill which the studios are situated on, luckly our room was off the 1st hill, the 2nd and 3rd were nearly vertical!!! not for the faint hearted!
all in all, best holiday we have been on. for 2 star accomodation, it was great, staff, food, cleanliness and location definatley 5 star!!

My wife and I were dubious about going to 2 star accommodation for the first time, but we need not have worried.
We booked this holiday last minute.
The room was clean and more than we expected.
The pool was nice and the sunloungers round the pool and up on the sundeck were always available.
The food at the bar was very good and the drinks were ometimes cheaper than in town.
The studios are just on the edge of town, 8 minutes stroll from centre, so not noisy at night.
Christina and the rest of the girls that run the place are very friendly and helpful.
There is a two ring stove and electric kettle plus a fridge. A safe can be rented for 10 euro per week (5 euro key deposit).
Rooms cleaned and beds made up every day. Linen and towels changed twice per week.
There is a bus stop right outside the entrance which will take you into Zante town centre for 1.40 euro each way.

The Christina Studios .... all I can say is what a joke!!!
When we arrived we were not helped with are suitcases was just pointed out to our room .. walked in room the bed was in the kitchen the toilet had dirt down it, we opened the fridge to put our drinks in and wires were hanging out the lining was ripped. It was the hotel from hell!
The rep was no help at all .. caught her talking about us because we complaind about the hotel .. well wouldnt anyone!
We got moved in the end after arguing with the rep. Zante is a lovely place we had a ball after we got moved ... but if I was you dont stay in these studios unless you dont mind dirt.
