The reort itself was clean and bright, but no beach although you could swim from the rocks. We have said 3 for entertainment, but we were out of the resort for most of the time and so really cannot comment.

We stayed in Qawara in Bugibba. I think it was the wrong time of year to go as it was mainly full of elderly people. But go to the Red Lion Pub you will be made to feel very welcome and will not be ripped off when buying drinks unlike some of the bars. You could buy duty free bottles of alcohol cheaper in England they were charging £19.00 for a litre of Smirnoff Vodka.

more of a base than anything as this is such a small island, has a main bus depot that serves the whole island, buses costs no more than a £1 to go anywere. nice promanade along the shore ,no sandy beaches ,100s of places to eat and cheaply too, drinks only a little cheaper than UK.A little troubled by some cat droppings in places.Very safe did not hear of or see any problems,It may change in the hight of the season of corse but I think not from the locals who are helpful and friendly.

very nice resort bus station nearby to get around the island, very cheap busfares. Ate out quite a bit as the hotel food was poor, plenty of eating places

Not the same standard as the Canaries or Spain. No real beach to speak of but with the right kind of Investment all that could change.

It was Christmas when we visited, so I cannot really report on the resort entertainment

We went for a walk by the beach and it was very pleasant. We did not stay in the resort so cannot comment further.

I don't use the entertainment, so it would be unfair to comment, nor do I use the pools etc. I scuba dive and have the Med to play in! Plus I am usually in bed and asleep for ten pm as we're up early to get the most of the day for diving. The only 'noise' I've had bother with is the god awful racket from thunderstorms. Enough to get a frog like me UNDER the flipping bed!! Yes, I would go again. Already planning November 2008...

Qawra has an abundance of shops and a variety of restaurants and bars, but one isn't inconvenienced by loud music or drunken/rowdy behaviour. We'd find that the words 'lively but Sedate' best describes it.
