We are a middle aged couple on our first visit to Malta and may we add will be our last!
The accommodation was horrendous, furniture was out of the ark and in disgusting condition, we had to leave the wardrobe doors open all the time because it was 'foisty' and had a horrible smell and one of the beds was falling to bits. The bathroom had broken tiles on the floor, the sink had a crack in it, the edging around the bath was missing leaving a hole right round and the tiles were in need of grouting and a good clean. The holiday from HELL.
Dirty, very noisy, food inedible.
Complaints ignored.
Couldn't eat in the apartments because the cooker and fridge were filthy. Other guests were noisy all night long, in spite of requests to cool it for the sake of an elderly gent, my father, who was holidaying with us. This noise level went on til four in the morning, mainly due to German student groups.
After the first complaints, we were moved to another
apartment but this was just as bad as the first.
The springs were hanging out of the beds, the toilet seat was broken, basin loose in the bathroom. The list could go on.
We definitely wouldn't go back and will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Everyone who we talked to said the accomodation was diabolical. They all could not wait to get home except for one person.
The pools outside are clean but the water is pumped out of the sea if you swallow it you can have a sore throat for a few days. It doesn't have good car parking facilites. The receptionist is not very friendly.
My bed, when I sat on it a spring shot out. The toliet seat was broken we complained and it was fixed right away. It is only a short distance away from the beach.

This had to be the fawlty towers of malta! I arrived to find dirty rooms, broken beds, one bedroom with no window for light or ventilitation, no toilet seat on the dirty urine stained toilet and two chairs in the living room for 5 occupants. Reception locks up at 5pm, including the front entrance to the hotel! Entry and exit by the hotel next door, via two dirty slippery pool areas.
Bar and restaurant now closed due to lack of profits last year, again refreshments are obtainable from the hotel next door across those pool areas again! The only thing that would improve this accommodation would be total demolition. We were moved at a cost of

we stayed at dorirose in 2001 and it was disgusting then!!! cockroaches and red ants all over filthy dirty place! very little room for sunbeds and pool area was filthy! it is the hotel from hell!!!
